God I'm on such a downer today so tired but can't sleep my mind is so pre occupied with debt and money I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anyhing else

Another day another dollar, so I'm going to do my PAD in a sec but I think it will only be pennies but hey it's there right? No money and can't wait till pay day and it's wayyyyy off

Hey all just a quick update, I'm now waitin on revised award from tax credits am unsure if u will get paid tomorrow or not, if not I will be in trouble although I do have child benefit coming on Monday, I have got mine and oh's net wage figures And am going to do my budget based on this as I've found out bonuses are not guaranteed and can therefore not be relied on, if we do get any bonuses they will be thrown at the debts, I can't believe how debt takes over your life to the point you think of nothing else, I'm glad I've woken up and smelled the coffee though so j can get debt free and look forward to the debt free future!

Morning all, i did get my normal tax credit payment this week but am almost positive it will all change by the end of next week so I think the best thing to do is make a start on my budget/soa and finalise once I know the tax credits payment (if any).

I'm going to have a 'root' round the house for things I can Ebay this weekend and i also need to get the APRs off my debts as I'm considering snowballing.

ive worked out that im overspending by approx 230.00 per month (for 3 months only) if my tax credits get wiped out by overpayment, so what to do to make that amount until the end of April? ok i have some vouchers on the way which will be about 120 pounds or so, this i will use for petrol thus making it 110.00 to find for the month of Feb, i think im gonna try to get some more bits on wbay again, did that a few months ago and made a few quid...PAD was about 2.30 today, trying to keep positive and focused !!

Any chance of getting debts onto a 0% card?
I hope the tax credit situation isn't as bad as you fear but you're wise to be proactive now in trying to cut back and make some money. Good luck with it!

Hi jellie thanx for stopping by I can't get any cc's at all especially 0%, my credit rating/score is shot to bits! I am preparing for the worse on tax credit front in case they wipe out my payments to repay any overpayments possibly made. I'm cutting back as much as possible and to be positive one or two things are paid off in a few months freeing over 120.00 per month so it's hopefully just a short term shortfall.

Snowballing is the way to go then! Any ideas on how you're going to cut the budget to cope or are you aiming to get some extra income?

A bit of both really, once I know exactly where I stand tax credit wise I will know my shortfall and sell and reduce spend to compensate, I wish they would hurry up and let me know what's what!!
