Well armyknife i see your point!
however i used to compost all our sensitive papers til we moved when i discovered DH had hoarded 7 packing cases full!
burnt until the neighbours complained. I found an established local business to shred and they let me watch them go in to ensure no funny business! I also had a receipt for the tax man and companies house.
i found it a great relief. ...until I got to our new place and found he had already accumulated a whole lot more....it has to go to work to be shredded now...every monday!0 -
There are many options for you, and sure a paper shredder can help a lot. As for which paper shredder to choose, it depends on your own shredding needs. Mainly there are two types, the home paper shredder and the industrial paper shredder. Take your time to choose a good paper shredder for you.0

paper shredding is the most important thing because we can easily get rid out of our confidential documents like Bank statements, ATM receipts, Credit card bills, Birth certificate copies.-3

Very probably. However it affords me the opportunity to let people know that I am a pyromaniac - I burn all sensitive papers (and indeed any other combustible waste). I find it enormously satisfying! Some is burned in the incinerator, but I also wind paper onto a tube contraption which makes good firestarters for the hearth. Ash gets mixed in with the compost in a bin which is kept specifically for the fruit trees, they seem to like it.2
