Tigs - congratulations and huge growing vibes to you.

Ml - the pool lady replied to my mail an hour later to say my pool would be here next Tues (the day I am 37 weeks) excited/scared/OMG!!!

Bear - I'm planning a pool birth at home. Think I will start in a T shirt but very likely to end up skyclad - midwives and OH seen it all before so sure they don't mind. All the pics I have seen of people right after the birth they have had nothing on so they can have skin to skin to skin (careful pics obviuosly lol). I would also say yes to towels - they say to get out of the pool every so often to keep things going so I am also having a towelling dressing gown to hand just in case.

Yeah i want some to. As the wedding theme is black and white. Im going to use the chocolate and yellow french fancies.

The pink ones either have to be eaten or i might put them on the buffett table :D

I know there is a salivating smiley... There is it ->

Well when he proposed in November there was 18/19months to go, and now theres only 10 months!!

I've got to find somewhere that stocks the yellow giant french fancie as Tesco & Asda only do the pink one. And the packs of small french fancies are only £1 each in Asda, so it should all come to under £50 hopefully. Very MSE :p

Sorry you are having a difficult time 32B. I think you are encountering what I was trying to warn you about yesterday. Tbh based on what other ladies have posted over the last few months, I think you have very litte chance of bringing your booking in appointment forward however hard you plead and argue for it, as a lot of other ladies have also tried to do this, and I think it happens quite a lot, and they just get hard hearted to it. If you do have bleeding, then going to A and E can fast track things, but otherwise it is a question of waiting your turn in the queue. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but getting increasingly upset about the situation isn't going to do you or the baby any good, and once you do get booked in things will get easier.

In the meantime, if you think it might help, you could always drop a note in to the surgery addressed to your regular GP saying you think you are about 13 weeks pregnant, have tried unsuccessfully to get an appointment earlier than 17 weeks and are concerned because you are Rhesus D and asking him to contact the midwives if you need to be seen earlier. Doing it in writing means it goes into your records that you've asked, which tends to focus professionals minds if there is any real risk about a situation!

nope no hanging about here!!!:j but i have been pg this quick after dd2 and it wasnt meant to be so i am keeping everything crossed that this doesnt end in mc.... have never had 2 pregnancys in a row which have ended in a little baby without a mc inbetween.....but i do feel happy about this time and have been feeling a little sick which i never had with any of the miscarriges so all good signs....
sorry went on a bit then...

Welcome! Hope all goes well with you. I have a very small gap between my two older children too (13 months exactly) and it is nice to have them close together, though very very hard work! Which probably explains why I waited another 8 and a half years to have no 3....
  • That is sooooo horrible Evansangel. One of my biggest fears at the moment is the blood tests that come with all the appointments, I absolutely hate needles with a passion and I'm in 2 minds if I should just refuse them outright because of the stress to the me and the baby or to really really try and have them even if it meens my OH and mum sitting on me or holding me down to a bed.
I`m shaking just thinking about it :(

I hate it when they say, "just a small scratch" its like
"how about i stick it in your arm and you can tell me if its a small scratch??!! My very aggessive kitten scratches nicer than that!" lol.

At my booking in appointment she tried both arms but couldn't any blood so i had to go to hospital to go through it again :(

You can refuse them, she asked my permission to have them :)

    xx
