  • 32b - hey I just wanted to say something similar happened with my Dr's (they missplaced my paperwork for 2 weeks) I spoke to a MW and she said I would get an appointment letter by the end of the 3rd week... By the time the appt came I would have been 16wks before my dating scan (I was booked in at 7 weeks)... and to cap it off the clinic only ran from 2pm onwards (one day a week) Where the clinic was located I would have had to leave at 2 to be able to collect my little people from school  After all that waiting the hormones got to me :o So I phoned up to cancel the appt and was asked when I wanted to re arrange for - so then I explained that I couldn't physically get to that clinic due to needing to collect my other children I had spoken to the consulatants secretary (who was less than helpful) So the superdooper lady at the central appointment place changed the consultant to one who ran a clinic that I could get to and managed to split the appointments so that I had my dating scan at 12 wks and the other appt later...

Although DH was ready to book a private scan if things didn't work out - I think it was £65/85 in Glasgow for a dating scan.

So even if at first glance it doesn't look like it is going well - just talk calmly to a real person - they tend to understand that in the early stages you feel like you are on your own ;)

Back later - need to get ready for the hygenist - see if she can do anything to help my poor teeth - lol they had just recoved from dd2

Sugar mine is the same, the bow gets smaller every time I try it on! I had though about getting the panel extended but I'm running out of time now! I'll probably just leave it and hope for the best, either way I'm sure it'll still look great on and i love it so much I'm not really bothered what anyone else thinks!!

Stuff it - It's my wedding and I'll [STRIKE]cry[/STRIKE] bare half my back if I want to :D

Ooh EA I've just noticed in your sig you are getting married in June and EDD is in March! 3 months should give you plenty of time to bounce back into shape but I guess trying on wedding dresses might be more difficult for you - unless you have yours already?!

Have you got much for your wedding yet?

No haven't got a dress yet. Im going to risk it and buy it after the baby is born! Eek!

I worked out if i go 2 weeks overdue i'll get induced around March 27th. So that gives me 10 weeks until the wedding to get a dress and try and get back into shape.

When i go on maternity leave im going to start exercising alot more so i'll be more used to it once baby arrives.

We were going to get a dress in January time, but i dont know what size i'll be after the baby is born and then in June.

Yeah we have paid deposits for the important things (Church, Reception Venue, Photographer) Just got to work out how im going to find a cake that people with peanut allergys can eat.
Cant have flowers as OH has hayfever, so having fancy balloons instead :D
Got to find a florist for my Bouquet. And we're getting bridesmaids dresses and alot of other things in the Jan sales. Trying to save as much money on the wedding as possible :D

How is your wedding planning going? :D x

SJ were you planning on wearing a bra with the dress? If not you could just fold the panel out of the way altogether and bare the rest of your back too :)

I loved my dress, I'm still not sure what to do with it - I don't want to sell it to a stranger, but how many 4 1/2 months pregnant size 8 5'1 women are there out there?!
