Just back from ante natal appointment. Baby has apparently moved and is no longer breech but lying across my tummy instead. Apparently the chances of me going into labour naturally before next Thursday (when section is booked) are tiny (Bah!) and they don't want to bring the date forward any. I am so sore and uncomfortable at this point, I could barely get on and off the examination couch! Will have to think of things to do for the next 8 days to take my mind of things, which don't involve much physical exertion...0

nanc - oh yes, no point beating around the bush lol!
hmmm... can imagine MWs love getting our damp pads to sniff - eurch!
No no sign of plug but then have heard from quite a few ppl that have somehow had waters break without noticing loss of plug... maybe there's just a teeny tiny hole through which the waters are leaking. I am so thirsty all the time!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

I know - was trying for dramatic effect lol!
I hope so too. it;s been going on for a little while tho so hope all's ok 'up there' and no infection's getting in. normally you wouldn't be allowed to go more than 48 hrs from waters breaking. Is prob nothing. I've got a MW appt tomorrow assuming no appearance tonight so can ask if I dare - she'll prob laugh at me!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Went for mw appt yesterday, she thinks it's breech (35+4 today) & got to go for scan tomorrow to check. If it is, got option of ECV, if that doesn't work may have to go to next town for CS (mega changes in services here!). Then I fell in car park on the way out, knees are a right mess, hole in best maternity trousers, today back & hips hurt, think it's cos of tumble, STILL waiting to hear about delivery for new car, so not a happy bunny today!!:eek::eek: Right...deep breath & reminder of choc biccies in fridge for later!
Having bacon butties & fresh fruit with yoghourt for tea - does that sort of balance? :rotfl:

ML, DH was at 'business end', and saw sack rupture and waters come. He didn't see a plug, and I didn't see one before then.
