Yay, we're back on! I was gutted MSE was down on my day off.
Very lazy day today as I feel very sore and a bit sicky. Just lounging on the sofa at the moment and have no real plans. Might go and get my RLT later actually if I can be bothered.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
*pokes head around the door - can I come back?*
I know, I haven't posted in weeks! I feel so bad about it. I've had a quick read through what I've missed, and thanks to those who were asking about me - it's really good of you
Congrats to all our new mums and babies - you're all doing so well! (and I can't believe the first person has graduated from the 22nd september club - yay Glam)
I've been fine: main reason I've not been on is that I've just been so tired for weeks now! It seemed to be that as soon as I finished work, it all caught up with me and I've spent a lot of time sleepingI'm a bit crampy today (was yesterday as well) but we've asked beaniebaby to stay put for another week
My bump definately looks smaller to me though, so I guess she has moved down a bit more again - will check with the midwife when I see her tomorrow.

Morning all - well almost afternoon.
Welcome to Muso.
Also good to see you about Glam - is nice that you can still come on and chat to us so soon after having your baby, I keep thinking that I am just going to be running around panicking for the first two weeks!! That is only when I actually think about what will be happening after baby is born.
I seem to go through the motions but don't really think past my due date! Does anyone else do this? At the moment I am just thinking about getting things sorted and arrange a nursery, but I try not to think about labour and looking after a baby 24/7....Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
good to see you squishy. glad you're ok

Hi!! Just popping on before I go to work for 1pm. Thanks Kindof and Glam for all the info about the TT Manual Breast Pump as that is the one I have got too. I got the kit and 3 spare bottles. Didnt really think about getting an electric steriliser too so will look into that tonight.
Glam, my turn to ask a silly question now, to sterilise the bottles with the box that came with the pump, do you just put them in the box and zap in the microwave, or is there more too it than this? Sorry I should go upstairs find out the instructions, dont worry if you are busy, Ill look tonight. xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Your welcome
I didnt really say much though lol
I have been working out my maternity leave, what do you guys think of this:
Baby is due 8th March 2010

8 March - 5 Sept off work for 26 weeks on full pay maternity
6 Sept - 5 Dec off work 13 weeks SMP
6 Dec - 2 Jan 2011 (eek) on Annual Leave (3 weeks from 09/10 year, 1 week of Bank Holidays I should accrue whilst off on ML)
Does that sound good??Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Kind of, you did help lots by asking the question
Your work/maternity plan sounds great to me. I am also using some holiday before I start my maternity pay. My work did say to me though if baby arrives early my maternity pay will have to start from that day, so say your baby arrived at end of Feb, I think I am right in saying your maternity pay would have to commence then. Just something to bear in mind.
I need to find out about what will happen with the holiday and bank hols that I will accrue next year too, I would love to tag them on the end of my 9/12 months off but not sure how my work will take to that idea!!
