Eek, no way can I catch up on everything!! Will have to do a kindof style mass catch up when I get a couple of hours :)

Ok, from what I can remember:

Xmas - congrats on baby Joey, can't wait for pics :)

Kindof - v jealous of the american style fridge freezer, I dream of having a kitchen large enough for one. In laws have a gorgeous black one, how tragic that I lust after it! Ooh and keep on stitching, everyone has an opinion on everything when your pregnant (so I'm starting to find anyway), just do what you want.

Elasti - sorry your parents/in laws are being so horrid, how sad, I'm sure they'll come around though.

EA - cute bump pic :) I still look exactly the same as ever, think we're due the same day too? OH thinks I look different but I think he's just saying it to reassure me somehow?!

GISI - sounds like you got a good deal on the clothes.

Ooh Nicki, we're planning to get the Bugaboo Bee too. As my mum will be the main daytime carer once I get a job post baby we thought it was important to get something to suit her and she's all of 5 foot nothing so although we like the Quinny Buzz I think it's too high and too rickety with the suspension for her, the Bugaboo Bee seems really sturdy by comparison and it's so lightweight too, I completely love it!

Got a nice day planned today as OH has the day off to come to the hospital with me this aft, going to go out for lunch after (Yo Sushi, mmmmmm, I'm going to salivate all over the raw fish!!) then going to see his sis and her 5 month old which will be lovely :)

Have a lovely day ladies, xxx

Congrats musogirl :) that great news!

Nancmat - I am sorry the leg cramps got you, I am fine this morning thanks, wishing I wasnt at work though lol

gymfiend - well we have to save for it first lol :) I am very lucky to have a big kitchen, when I lived at my mams the kitchen was tiny lol it was like 8 foot by 8 foot!

When are you due again? we are due around the same time, give or take a day or two

I'm too scared to take a bump pic cos I think I am just fat :(

How long to the tend to keep first time mums in hospital thesedays? like if the birth all went ok and baby was feeding etc, or is that like a how long is a piece of string question?

Glam - thanks for that review on the pump cos I think thats the one I want, how many bottles did you buy? I dont know how many to get? like I dont know how much we can express (I guess that is another length of string question?)

Our hospital does do a 6hr discharge so once you've had baby and they are satisfied everything is OK you can go after 6hrs - however, you have to wait for Paediatrician checks and that can take awhile. Plus u might have to go back in for newborn hearing screening.
Most people have an overnight stay or 24hr stay - this is what I had to have cos he had to have his sugars monitored over 24 hrs.
Glam is this the one you have got: http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/new_manual_breast_pump/

Do you know how much it is in the event? (I dont know where you have all got your prices from lol I cant find any info lol)

If I buy that pump, am I right in thinking I dont need to buy the steriliser I posted about yesterday, or would you recommend getting one as well as I get the impression the one you get with the pump only sterilises one bottle at a time?

Yeah that's the one and the pump is good - you get one free bottle with it.
I wouldn't use it to sterilise all the bottles - way too much hassle! I got the electronic steam sterliser which is really good (it might be in the event, it was last time). I got 2 free bottles with it and then bought another 2 so I have 5 bottles.

Now I've got to grips with it (lol) - I sterilise 4 of the bottles in one go, and then put them all together so I have 4 sealed bottles ready for when he needs them and the other bottle I use with the pump.

I've just done all the bottles in the steam steriliser and used the box that comes with the pump to sterilise that in the microwave.

didn't get much sleep - Jack had me up from 1am until 5am! Was a little grot bag, fed loads though so I don't mind  I slept on the sofa from 5am until 8am, daddy just given him his brekkie so needs a change before his heel !!!!! later. :(

    Congrats xl on baby Joey!

Welcome musogirl! When's your EDD? - we can add you to the list. :) I was also 24 when got pregnant (just had my b-day :P) and it's our 1st as well.

Well, we bought a pram last night! :T:T It's a Chicco Trio 4 Me travel system...has pretty near everything I wanted out of a pram except a carrycot, but I had kinda resolved that in order to get a nice, lightweight pram under £100 (used), I'd have to forsake the carrycot. Came with the car seat & base, too, so mega money saved here :D. Weirdly, it seems like all the models sold now come with carrycots, so I MIGHT have a nose around to see if I can buy one separately - I'm not heartbroken though.

I had a pretty strange dizzy spell this morning. It started as I was standing waiting for the train, but only got worse after I sat down - the kinda where your ears ring & you get tunnel vision and cold sweat and everything. It lasted about 10 min from beginning to end and no idea what brought it on, as I did everything normal this morning (had breakfast). V strange...will prolly phone MW later just to be careful.

Thank you VERY much Glam :) you have just answered everything I needed to know :)

I am writing my list for the event now

They do have the steriliser in the event too for £10 so I will get that, and two more bottles :)

I was going to ask people how many bottles you needed but you answered that for me :)

I presume as the baby gets older the bottles need to get bigger? does anyone know that?

I know I am probably asking these questions too soon lol

Aww I am sorry you didnt get much sleep :( poor Jack having a heel !!!!! (so funny that itblocks that word out lol)

Thanks for the hospital info as well :)

    What does this mean

Pampers baby dry Mega box (99-144 nappies per box) £12

Does that mean depending on size of nappies depends on how many in box?
And do they do size 1's?

Morning ladies. Not sure why I am awake so early (although not as early as Harley - this is your first week of leave lady! You are meant to be having long lies!!!).

Morning Fitz. I know, I didn't want to get up, I was planning a nice lazy day today trying to catch up on TV and Cross Stitch. I did finish the paper and lay down on the sofa for a couple of hours snooze.

Kindof - I'd keep going with the Charlies Ark too. I think they are lovely and really don't matter which 'type' it is. It was made with love by mummy so baby will love it regardless. I agree that everyone has an opinion on everything, but I just smile sweetly and ignore them anyway. I have always done things my way and anyone who thinks that is about to change now is in for a big disappointment.

    Hi Muso :hello:Welcome and congrats.
