SJ - I was told to wait untill after my 20 week scan too but thats not till october 2nd and i will be 21 weeks then. lol

I showed OH your post about what you have got in and he thinks we should go tomorrow and get stuff too. I think it made him panic a bit. :rotfl:

    So far we have
    - Closer to nature Bottles/Breast pump/ Electronic steriliser/ Breast pads/ Dummys/ Spare teats (im going to express for OH and for when we go out in public, im very shy lol)

    - Lots of newborn clothes/vests/bibs/booties

    - A first aid/ baby care kit

    - The johnsons baby toiletries box (it was cheap lol)
    - Various packs of nappies i got for free from vouchers
    - And im sure there is a baby seat up in my mums loft for me.

We're getting the big stuff once we move into our new house as we dont want to buy loads then have to store it then move it.

Then we go food shopping as we walk around i see stuff and my nan is in there buying it or she sneaks off and my mum ends up getting it a few times we have all come back with the same outfit !!! We then go to my aunts and she has brought me a few bit's and bobs. So i have a quite a bit and did not start till i was 20 weeks.

I think my mum makes the best bacon sarnies ever, i can only have bacon done a certain way (burnt) as i dont like the fat all gooey in my mouth.

And my mum likes hers exactly the same so she knows how to cook it for me :)

My nan is currently knitting a blanket i think for me.

And my mum is dying for me to hit 12 weeks and say its ok for her to start purchasing things. She wants to get me bits each week :)

I am starting to worry about Squishy. She hasn't been on for a while and had been in for monitoring a couple of weeks ago. She finished up work the same day as me so I would have thought she would have been on here by now.

Squishy - if you are lurking, give us a wave! Hope all is well.

Right, off to the shops now. Grudging buying any more maternity clothes at this late stage, but feel like I don't want to leave the house as I only have about 3 tops suitable, so no point in being miserable and living like a hermit! I have also borrowed braces from my dad as none of my trousers stay up!! It's been really stressing me out. Can't wait until it's over! x

    ^ ^ ^ ^ for squishy

i have bought some cheap joggers from asda (£3) in grey to do me but they do them in black and navy so i want to get them as well. i got fed up with wearing leggings all the time. am going out with some friends sat night so am gonna get a new top then. need a few more long tops though, so will try asd tomorrow. cant walk round bury for any lenght of time with out my feet looking like pigs trotters! lol!!

    EA- ((((((hugs)))))) for your friend

however this is one reason why i refused to buy anything at all till my 20 week scan. i thin k my sis and poss mil bought a few things before that but i refused to. we only bought the travel system last month and cot this month.
