    Hi SJ :hello:

Your due around the same timw as me and i was just wondering if you have bought many baby items yet? I have not bought a thing but mainly because MIL keeps saying its still to early to be buying.

I love your bump pic i still have no signs of a bump yet but im quite heavy so prob wont see it till its huge. lol

Hope everyone is well and that all scans and appointments go well.

Thanks! I took another one on Tuesday but my SD card wasn't being read by my laptop so I couldn't put it up :(

I have bought quite a few bits actually! Got 3 small bundles (6ish items each) off ebay in various sizes up to 9 months - total cost incl postage was about £10, 168 newborn size 1 nappies, 4 packs of wipes, pack of 3 white sleep suits, pack of muslin cloths, pack of scrath mittens, 2 packs of 2 bibs and 1 really cute Winnie the Pooh outfit!

We've had bought a few different sleep suit / all in one things, and a couple of cute outfits, hooded towels, £50 Mothercare voucher and my mum has knitted 3 cot blankets!

I've also bought wallpaper border for the nursery, a door hanger and musical cot toy in the Mamas and Papas Parsnip and Zeddy range http://www.mamasandpapas.com/range/zeddy-parsnip/2657/ and MIL bought us the lightshade in that range too

We have got quite a collection of stuff growing in what is going to be the nursery!!!!!

I think you have plenty of time! I think I have got a bit carried away really! I thought that saving for the wedding would put a dampner on me buying baby stuff but that hasn't really worked lol!

I know a couple of people on here have said they are waiting until after 20 week scan before nuying anything but I'm not that patient!!

I showed OH your post about what you have got in and he thinks we should go tomorrow and get stuff too. I think it made him panic a bit. :rotfl:

    Hey girls

Nice bump Glam, so neat! I don't think even my 1st was as neat as you! And yes, since my dad left for Leeds yesterday, our house has been very relaxed and happy...untill he comes back tommorow, then it will be awful again but as it's the weekend,OH isnt at work so it's easy to avoid him as we just go out somwhere for the day. And its bank hol too, so no work Monday,so we'll go out again..then he's flying back to Spain Tuesday :j:j:j:D

On the TENS disscussion..I used one last time, that I hired from Lloyds pharmacy but I ended up ripping it off and throwing it accross the room as it was 'doing my nut in' and went into a nice warm bath instead..where I stayed untill I got out onto the bed to push. I'm thinking I probably didn't get started with it quick enough so felt it wasn't working so I'm going to keep an eye out for a bargain one on ebay and give it another go this time. Between that, a birth pool and some gas and air I'm hoping I will manage. I did last time but as every labour is different I'm keeping an open mind.
RLT- I have a feeling our town has a little independent herbal/vitamin shop down a road I don't really go down all that often so I'd not thought of it, so I'm going to see tommorow, try get hold of some of the capsules.

Good luck with scans Kindof (you'll have already had it by now though!) and EA too..so exciting, seeing little bean for the very first time, I remember mine so well!
love my little man he is amazing :j

Kav honestly I reckon I've got too much stuff for the stage I'm at!! It will all get used though so I suppose it's not too bad. Don;t think you need to rush though - although it's so much fun buying baby stuff - even nappies I was dead excited about!

Nice to see you around though, there's somehting quite comforting in having someone on here who's due around the same time I reckon :)

EA hope your scan goes well, kindof, hope yours went well.

I'm off now as going to get may hair trimmed for the wedding! Then I'll dye it myself next week so it's nice and shiny.

Enjoy your afternoons and I'll probably be back on later when OH is at football
