Hey all...
Who was it yesterday asking about how often we were having MW appts? Fitzio?
Just had my 37 wk appt and am still on 2-weekly, so won't see her again til 39! I guess this is a good sign??? She just said yesterday it's a case of waiting for labour to start!
cub hasn't grown since last appt (35 wks) so am now well back inside the normal fundal height range... MW didn't seem at all concerned on size front. Still 3/5 engaged too...
Now to catch up!MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Morning all
Glam / Beenie - Followed the link to Glam's 20 week bump pic and my screen was filled with a shot of Glam's boobs! Lol! Wondered where you were taking me for a minute ha ha!!
I've just been naughty and bid on 5 bundles on ebay! Won the first one for 50p for a 4 piece bundle which isn't too bad. I doubt I'll get them all but can only get on ebay at work before 9am, between 12and 2 and after 4 so I can't keep an eye on them!
Good luck with your scan kindof! You're nervous and stuff now but it will all be worth it once you see your bubs moving around!!0 -
Re RLT - am on the 'Glam Plan' (currently 3 cups/day) and still no BHs?! Hmmm wonder what's going on in there? Am I in for a very late one?!
Re eating in labour - at our hypnobirthing class we saw a vid of a woman HBing eating pizza! (this is now on my mental birthing plan) We were told that if you're not stressed, your circulation round your organs stays pretty normal, so you can eat and digest OK. it's only when you get scared that the blood flow diverts to your fight or flight organs (legs, heart?) and digestion becomes an issue. Of course, if you're in hospital I guess they're concerned you may need to go into theatre but if you're doing OK and need food you need food - surely a few simple carbs wouldn't go amiss? Can't believe an exhausted and hungry mother is in anyone's interest.

I am dying to bid on some bundles lol but I have put off buying anything till after scan, and even then we are going to find out the sex when we can so may just wait till then to get bundles, then I need to tell little white lies to OH about where they came from lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Well we're not finding out the flavour, plus I don't want to end up with an all blue or all pink wardrobe, so I'm enjoying looking for gender-neautral clothes! Just wish there was more brightly coloured stuff though instead of all beige and white!0

Looks like i missed the September Crewe last night. Had ILs round. They are going on holiday on Friday, back 9th Sept. And i'm supposed to keep the baby in til then.
What do they think i am? do they think i can keep my Uterus under control? Not my fault if i go in to spontaneous labour before my section date of 14th Sept. And at consultant app on Tuesday, they could even decide to section me earlier due to size of baby!
I've been pregnant for 8 months, they booked their holiday less than a month ago, their fault if they miss it. Am i being awful to say that it would suit me better if they did section me earlier because i can't be doing with all the faffing and fawning that comes with them. MIL really does know how to be smothering.
Forgot to say yesterday, Nice Bump Glam. Way bigger than mine, but then i am measuring small, aren't I :rolleyes:0
