Good to know I'm not the only one with a baby that wont stop moving! Off to bed now, got to get up early to have some blood tests to find out how anaemic I am and hopefully tomorrow I will remember to do some pelvic floor exercises as well.

    Night all

We got a sheet of paper with the pros and cons on for each type of pain relief - OH and I talked and have agreed that Epidural is last resort as they do pass onto baby and make them sleepy in first 24hrs. I;m allergic to Morphine so only really option is Meptid - which seems OK so I'm thinking

    Paracetamol/Co-codamol
    TENS Machine
    Gas and Air
and if I need it the Meptid

Am hoping this will get me thru!
it did me :D (well not TENS they're ship IMO)

Seconded. Mine was unceremoniously ripped off and flung away. It was soooo annoying, completely destracted me from concentrating on the contractions because the timing of the pulse of the TENS. :o

I have no advice on the pushchair, but if you are buying it from Toys R Us, if you get the catalogue/magazine, there are vouchers in it. I binned the vouchers that I wouldn't use as had so many I could not close my purse, but there was one for money off a travel system. Could have been £10, could have been £50, I can't remember. My vouchers expire at end of August, but I am sure there will be new ones if there is a new catalogue.

If ordering online, 3% off at Topcashback or 2% off with Rpoints I think.

Ooh thanks for that fitzio I'll have a look for the mag :T

Hope you're feeling better this morning, I watched a few birth videos on you tube with OH, more to prepare him really (want him to stay at my head end lol) but saw one with an epesiotomy that freaked me out:eek:

morning kindof good luck for your scan, both mine were in the morning thankfully-I am not a patient person lol

on the subject of TENS, I used one when having my daughter and swore it was rubbish....that being said I still didn't take it off and am now thinking maybe it took the edge off and I didn't realise that at the time so maybe I should get one again for this time! :rotfl:
