Sorry you had a rubbish day Glam. Hope your lunch tomorrow goes well and cheers you up.
This is the first day I haven't had anything planned and spent the day thinking about stuff from the class last night and watched a programme of a woman giving birth. Too much time on my hands! Ended up sitting crying thinking "what the hell have I done?!!". I am sure it's just normal but I haven't had time to consider this stuff before. Also concerned about my breathing and stuff. Really need to practice that or I will be panic breathing and be knackered before I have started.
Re. eating during labour, we were told we can eat before going into hospital and I doubt I will care about eating when I am too far into established labour, but was more concerned about the no drinking.
ETA - Hello Lil Miss! Definitely not long now!!
Feeling better now thanks!
After tomorrow the only appts I have are Hair cut on 1st Sept and Aqua natal on 7th - so plenty of time to finish house off and getting some relaxing done!
Picked up some more plastic containers for batch cooking today so will try and do a shop this weekend - did you see the LIDL voucher on the MSE newsletter? Told OH we should go to LIDL and stock up on cupboard stuff and just get meat and other bits in ASDA.
OH trying to stop me drinking RLT cos of the stoooooooooooopid MW the other day - have had to show him net stuff to show him I'm riight!
Not even going to watch any videos - I felt bad when we covered pain relief and they showed us the baby coming down the birth canal using a doll and a pelvis - told OH 'This baby is staying in here!!!@A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

it's top of our list (and due date being 1 month today really need to get sorted!) but it's so new I can't get any reviews on it!
It's also exclusive to toys r us so if anyone has tips on money off/cashback etc it would be gratefully recieved as haven't really used these before
bump seems to have suddenly droppd right down-feels really weird lol
I'm on the gaviscon tablets (well Tescos own anyway) as you can suck them-can't stomach the liquid or the chewy tablets at all.
I have no advice on the pushchair, but if you are buying it from Toys R Us, if you get the catalogue/magazine, there are vouchers in it. I binned the vouchers that I wouldn't use as had so many I could not close my purse, but there was one for money off a travel system. Could have been £10, could have been £50, I can't remember. My vouchers expire at end of August, but I am sure there will be new ones if there is a new catalogue.
If ordering online, 3% off at Topcashback or 2% off with Rpoints I think.0 -

We are covering pain relief next week.
DH came home and could see I was down, asked me what was wrong and I ended up crying to him and saying I was worried as I felt I didn't know anything and had watched the stupid programme! He kept saying "most people I know have epidurals" which in my distressed state sounded like he was trying to push me into taking drugs, when he really just wanted to say that if I want pain relief, he is completely behind me and that I shouldn't worry too much about the pain coz if I can't cope I can take something. Sometimes when you are upset, and people don't say precisely what they mean, it can sound so different (or at least it does in my twisted head)!!! lol.
Currently ironing baby clothes. Washed and dried the bedding and made up the moses basket, so at least I feel I have done something constructive. And ditched a couple of pairs of PJs from my hospital bag pile. Decided I probably had too much stuff! And ditched the full pack of nappies and just took 10 out of the packet. It may change though!
Lil Miss - are you all set? Have you packed your bag yet?0 -
fitz,,,well kinda,,ive made a start,,have put most of the baby stuff in just a few bits for myself at the mo,,but def top of the list for this week,,,
