Another thing I learnt (not from the crap doctor obviously!) today was that all antenatal classes at the hospital are cancelled until further notice and that no visitors other than mum's and birth partners are allowed into any of the maternity / ante / neonatal wards because of swine flu. Good job I have booked NCT classes (although these are not til I am weeks 35-37 - is this too late???) and the local NCT branch let me send a load of post dated cheques to pay for the course so I've staggered it over paydays. Must remember to apply for my HIP grant next time I am down there - I had to ask for prescription exemption certificate and MATB1 so obviously our local trust don't do things unprompted!0

Hi everyone, cant be bothered to catch up i dont have time lol.
My internet and laptop are being stupid and keep breaking
Only 3 days until the scan!!!!!!!:j
Am going shopping today with my friend, she wants to get some bits from mothercare and OH has said i can spend £50 in there on my store card IF i see anything unisex that is cheap and nice :rotfl:
Mmmm, waiting for my mild curry super noodles to cook
Also to whoever said about saving some change for the scan pics (i forgot who said it sorry!) the place we're going to, its £10 for a cd of printed images and some short video clips and 5 printed scan pics.
So thats not bad
I had a choice to have my scan at the hospital or with a private clinic the NHS have funding with. And i had my early scan there so i chose there
Plus the waiting room has the MOST cushiony sofa, its lovely to sit on it0 -

Morning (afternoon) all! Wow, I can't believe some of you September ladies are getting so close - seems like only yesterday you were all still in your 2nd trimester :-D. Little bubs is really kicking away this morning so that's exciting, but I've yet to be able to catch any feeling from outside yet (but might just be me just missing it). I'm totally jealous of everyone's scans & such...feel really weird that I haven't had my "20 week" yet, but the kicking at least let's me know that things seem to be going okay

billybob - highly unlikely, but they say sperm can live for up to 7 days so in theory if you ovulated pretty early in your cycle you could still get pregnant. However, I'd say your chances are pretty darn low, sorry.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I have no idea, but i would think it unlikely! Then again they do say the sperm can last a while inside you lol. There's some experts on ovulation and cycles on the trying to conceive thread, but i must admit i don't know what all their abbreviations mean :rotfl:
