Has anybody bought the belly band's ? I have seen them on ebay and various other sites and thought they would help with SPD that I had in my previous pregnanacy and make my non maternity clothes last a bit longer
From what i understand(never used them) there are 2 kinds one is a nice belt for a bit of comforting support and helps clothes look/last better.
The other are proper supports and are not fancy and look like a strap, this is what is meant to help SPD i think.

Dont want you thinking the 2 are the same. HTH

A friend brought them back from Florida. No idea what shop they're from, I'm afraid.

Glam- yep I had to have 28 wk bloods last week ahead of anti-D so I guess we'll go through results of those.

Just working out our finances for when I'm on SMP. We can just about break even once everything's paid for. Baby's savings should pay for any baby bits we need but I think it will be a bit of a culture shock. Well worth it though, then hopefully I can easily afford to go back three days a week instead of full time if work agree :j.

By looking at the label they look like Carters clothes- absolutley beautiful clothes..we got bags and bags full from there when we were over in Florida in June as they had a really good sale going on!
love my little man he is amazing :j

and disposal bags and top'n'tail bowl and a basin for use as a bath...

your hospital is tight!:rotfl: seriously they didn't give you cotton wool? Did they give you disposal bags?

Nothing! No wipes, no pads, no disposal bags. I had to request a sick bowl. No top n tail bowl or basin. They did feed us though. No soap in my en suite!! Not even handwash!

I've heard of no pads being supplied. I understand they must go through masses of stuff but that's what they are they for.

At our PC class on sat the MW actually said to bring a couple of pillows as she couldn't guarantee they would have them! !!!!!!!

Anyone bought a Tummy Tub bath? I.m quite fancying one but they are quite expensive. Should I just bath him in a washing up bowl in the kitchen sink?! Gosh, it's way too long since I did all this, I feel so out of touch!

Gosh you's all have such big bumps, I'm getting nervous lol
When I had DD i was so small the MW done a test on me at 7mths, Would have thought the extra heart beat would have been a give away.
With DS i had a bump you could see but no one would ever believe how far along i was even in the labor ward during my labor. Son was 8lb13 daughter 4lb13.
