hi i was wondering if u could please help me
my period seems to be really late i think as im on the pill and the 7 day gap has lapsed without a period. the first day of my last period was 23 July. i took a pregnancy test but it came up negative i also had some spotting about 2 weeks ago which i have NEVER had and been feeling rather sick and also weeing alot which seems strange but not sure if they are symptoms as dont know. I'm 24 and got engaged on saturday so could be the shock (nice of course) of that but i would have still been late.
Help please xxxGetting married in Cuba in Feb 2011cant wait xxxx

Princess as your last period was 23rd July, i would leave it a bit longer to see if it arrives, and maybe see a doc? The spotting could have been implatation
A few girls on here have been talking recently about getting negatives even though period was late and having preg symptoms.
Congrats on the engagement :T0 -

just looked at my pregnancy ticker i have on fb and i've 28 days to go :eek::eek:
Scary isn't it when you can count down in days!!!
I have 16 days to induction
Well nursery is now clear of junk, changing unit built up, and canvas piccy things up (they are crap but will do) :j It actually looks like a nursery now!!! Trying to talk OH into putting cot up - think he could be persuaded!
Am just buying a moses basket - I know i have one but it was £20 to buy the mattress cos it's such a weird size or £27 to get the basket and mattress new. Have got this one

and I paid via Paypal so used the cashback that has just cleared from my home insurance :j and free delivery when you collect in store :money:
Boobie MW been - she was amazing. As she has covered everything I don't need to go to last Parentcraft session which is good. She has suggested I try hand expressing from Week 37 - so a week today which might get some clostrum for baby (I need to freeze it) and could help induce labour!!! :j
A very productive day but OH in a bit of a !!!!!! cos I think he expected to get more done and boobie MW was here an hour and he stayed upstairs and got bored! He's now working out so will hopefully be in a better mood later!!
Jillie - chin up hun. I have been reading your posts today and you seem so down about things - I've had the 'if this happens' discussion with OH earlier and will just keep going over it this week so he knows stuff.
Helen - Yay for you dad going off for a few days (that sounds awful I know!)
Aless - hello!! Can't wait to have you back!!
Am meeting with 2 of the girls from Parentcraft for lunch on Thursday before we all go to Antenatal Physio together. Going shopping tomorrow for a few bits then got clinic appt.

Jillie- sending you bigs hugs. You've been through so much in the past couple of weeks you are probably in a bit of shock. It's totally normal to feel the way you do, and feel free to vent to us as much as you like. Hope you get everything out of your MW apt that you want to!
Helen- I had noticed that it says Mane Man but I'm guessing the person who bought it for me didn't!
Aless- I was thinking about you today and wondering if you're back. Glad you are doing okay.
Anti-D was fine. Felt a bit sore going in and my arm ached afterwards for about half an hour but it was definitely no biggy! I feel pretty rough now. but I think that is due to eating too much tea than the injection. MW tomorrow- anyone know if anything exciting happens at this apt (30 weeks)?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I have 2 items with bids on eBay - :j:j:j - I hate waiting for items to end. A whole day to go
Need to list loads more stuff but need OH's help as it's his stuff and he's better at doing the description than me!
I'm starving - wish OH would hurry up and finish weights so I can start tea!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

need somewhere to gather and put all my emotions and thoughts at the moment together. i am being positive about meeting with mw tomorrow as she has been the one constant so far (with medical people) so we have built up a good rapport.

i know the other things...
bath- yes please
birthing ball- i'll try it
skin-to-skin as soon as possible
injection for me to help placenta come out quicker
vit K injection for baby
breastfeed asap (apparently some babies suckle straight away)
hubby smoke breaks when he wants (have said i will not mind but he cant come back in the room stinking of cig smoke as i dont want baby's first proper breaths being stale cig smoke... yuck!!)
