ps i forgot to add beacon and the packagers dont check experian i have monitoring on all 3 CRA

if you co on beacon website you can find info on which CRA they use and its always equifax

hi aimzrabbit, thanks for explainging what you went through ,who was your packager do you know ?

Would you mind me asking did you have adverse credit ,was it a lot ? Did they go into it with a fine toothcomb ?

Packed already ,thats quick,I thought i was organised. I want to start packing to,but dont want to incase we dont get an offer oh hum :-)

my equifax didn't get searched by Beacon just the two searches by my packager ......but the packager i used claims to have an onsite beacon underwriter perhaps this is why i got my offer in 4 days who knows

yer offer must be due but were on the 10th september today and if beacons funds dry by the 20th as peeps say then even mine is going to be tight to complete by the friday the 18th sep and will prolly not complete until 1st october ...again who knows

Hi aimzrabbit, thanks for replying that did help a great deal thank you so much, i saw in another post you say that you might not be able to complete until the 1st if the offer doesnt go through, what do you mean, i thought you had your offer the other day,can they take it away from you and make you go to the bottom of the queue again ?

ps could i ask you if you join equifax will that not show another search, i thought that having less searches on your credit file was supposed to help,i want to look at mine, but dont want the lender or packager to think someone else is searching thanks so much :-)

hi silversaxman, thanks so much for replying, so did they ask any credit questions ,you said that when they did your broker was ahead of the game ,so were they questions regarding your credit file etc, if you dont mind me asking :-) and also thanks for the link , i did find that on the web to, but i still am worried ,thanks so much, did your broker tell you that there was a 10 day delay ? thanks so much :-)

as regards to the offer what i meant is that from what I've read if that the mortgage funds are not transfered from beacon to the solicitor before the 20th then they have a habit of not transfering the funds until next months so i have read but i have not experienced this as of yet

and you can search yer own credit files as many times as you like it will NOT make any difference to your score
