I'm sorry you feel that people are just posting their own conveyancing problems............ but this forum has been an absolute rock for me over the past few days - to know that I am actually not alone in dealing with all this crap being thrown at me by my buyers mortgage co!
Its great to hear someone (Honeymonster) has finally exchanged and got a completion date - it has given me hope.
Also it has been very very helpful to meet up with Expert Seeker who is in the same boat as I, and we can share our experiences and hopefully our celebrations......... if we ever get there.
So......... start another thread, but I was merely asking you if you had a new survey date yet, but obviously you dont wish to share........... :-(
Anyway.......... ES................ hon............... Had my second survey today, as expected, all good no problems and they should have faxed the report to Beacon this afternoon, to hopefully exchange tomorrow, for a 2nd Nov completion...........
I'll let you know if I hear anything, but to be honest, i'm, not holding my breath!
Have you heard anything about your 3rd survey???

Dont give up hope, you are still just beginning. Things might go a lot smoother and a lot faster for you. It might be very straight forward. Just hang in there. Try and relax and think about your new home and new start. Good luck. X0 -
Hi Expert, im fine thank you...a little stressed like everyone else about the whole mortgage situation! Thank you for asking, how are you?
After a long wait for an offer we finally had one about middle of sept. Our solicitors have been liasing with B legal, they did send a list of things we needed to submit (about 16 things) we have completed the list so our solicitor is just waiting for the all clear from them as to whether we can exchange or not with a completion for early Nov.
Our buyers have been very patient and are happy to wait for us, however the house we are buying is back on the market and they are activley trying to sell to new buyers so we are going through the whole process hoping they don't sell to anybody else!
But what can you do apart from make endless phone calls/emails every day, only to find you probably haven't got any futher with it all anyway.

Hi storm, yes we have got to have 3rd valuation as house prices might of gone down!! it hopefully will be done next week, we are supposed to complete 3rd nov, no i'm not holding my breath either. I think they are stalling us again personally. Do you know whether the solicitor for your buyers have requested the money yet and how much they are borrowing.0
