Sounds like you are looking for closure, but not sure "one last shot" will provide that. A card to an old friend is fair enough, but try not to put all your hopes on it. We just don't want to see you getting hurt.
Hope work isn't stressing you out too much and you will be able to concentrate on the driving lessons. I passed mine years ago and still don't have a car
LeeSouthEast - just noticed your signature. Bloomin well done!!
Not sure if you won the lottery to get rid of that loan, but great news - just in time for Christmas too. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Right, yesterday was a good day although I ended up with the most awful headache which lasted all of today.
So today I went into work (mistake) cos otherwise I would mess up exams and have to have a meeting as to why I was
not there and the hassle simply wasn't worth it. I managed some marking and even made a passable job of teaching but at lunch I threw up, I taught last lesson in some kind of haze and then came home and slept from 4 till 7 missing my MA session and oh yes my boss is a !!!!!! of a very high standard. One day he will get his.
I have books to mark and I appear to have lost two sets of assessments.
Money wise today was a no spend day - its only the first one of the month, I am still on course to pay off the CC at the end of the month.

The trick when you throw up at work, is to throw up on the right person."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I have bad news about Edinburgh. I was so looking forward to going but my best friend has changed the weekend she is coming down from Barrow and it will only be the second time I will have seen her this year so I can't come.
I really did want to see you all so badly but she has six kids and no money and I know it will be the only chance to see her till the Summer. I am gutted gutted gutted. I didn't want to say anything cos I thought she might change her dates - they clashed with another visit but she confirmed at the weekend and she is pretty much skinting herself to visit and I was so keen to see her that I don't feel I can say oops I am off that weekend.
sorry BeaniexxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
