Can I pick everyone's brains please? I've just been measured up & am wearing the wrong bra size......does anyone remember the name of the charity which sends bras to undeveloped countries coz I've got a drawer full of 34B's that are no good now I am a 32DD  :rotfl:
You may want to be wary of charities that support places like Africa. I was rather surprised to see a bustling market in Kenya only to be told it was a second hand market. The guide told us it was the clothes we had given to charity which had been intercepted by the government and police and was now being sold to the poor for profit of those already rich. We may think our politicians are bad but they are not a patch on politicians in some under develloped countries.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

  • Morning all..

Today I'm testing out the brightest pink nail varnish ever, it was my mystery shopping bargain yday, and I love it!! Have just teamed it with a black / brown leopard print 50s dress from H&M, the usual black cardi / leggings combo and some boring silver Primark pumps.

GG, haven't got very far with the blog, I don't know how to put pictures up on a post, but have so far got the profile done, and a load of photos lined up to go on there when I can figure it out..

I'm feeling very cheerful this morning as I was rummaging in my chest of drawers and thought "ooh, ancient pair of jeans, I'll try them on and see if they fit now I've lost some weight" And they do :D And they're a size smaller than I thought they were :j

    So:

Aforementioned jeans - Dotty P's many moons ago so probably about £15 or so
    White long line v neck vest top - Dotty P's - 3 for £12
Pale grey long cardi - Tesco £12
Black cowboy boots - Christmas present
Blue and white chunky beads - car boot sale 20p
Blue daisy stud earrings - Accessorize, can't remember how much!

TBH, that's why I was hoping for someone's recommendation. I will contact my local OXFAM store about my unwanted undies :p

    Congratulations Alenikov!

Pirate fairy, I love a bright pink for my toes.I have a super BarryM bright pink which is very 80s pink and is sort of vinyl-ly in appearance, not too gloosy, not matt, (although it wears glossier, which I see as a bonus) and it never fails to lift my mood. I

I have workmen coming in today, so I'm stuck in all day...and i'm ahead of myself this morning. I'm thinking I might do sort through some drawers.

My hairdresser praise the condition of my hair at the weekend, so I'm hoping to get the rest of me up to scratch again too. So one of my mse well turned out tasks i to find a good rcipe for a body scrub and attack my skin later. I've filed nails on my left hand, got to get on with the right hand next. I'm also catching up on handwashing (I create loads of handwashing, when do other people get this done?)

so for this homely day I'm wearing mushroom coloured yoga pants, a cream and gold stripe vest (with matching knickers) which, -you might need to sit down fashionita friends- was bought full price at M&S and a black cardigan, where I redeem myelf, this was bought in a Gap sale a few years ago. I'm also wearing two carriers bags (5p each, lol) helping the vaseline stay on y feet, under a pair of half price welly socks (£7.50 John Lewis).

Some days, glam just doesn't feel right.:o I have got mascara on though

Upload them to photobucket/other image hosting site and copy paste the html code in to the blog entry x

Everyone sounds like they are looking lovely today :T

Bit of a traumatic morning here as one of my elderly guinea pigs is on his way out :(
lots of decisions over whether to let him go in peace or stress him out more with a trip to the vet,
    we're going for option one as he's not ill/in pain/suffering :o

    Anyway, outfit...
Lilac floral tea dress: 99p Primark via Ebay
Grey marl tights: £1.25 Boots clearance
Grey fair isle bf cardigan: £15 Primark (I reckon I live in this!)
Black studded ankle boots: £24 La Redoute.

No jewellery or makeup as of yet
  • Hello fashion friends. LiR, I think we share a nail varnish! I LOVE that pink by Barry M, it really does make me happy! I love Barry M nail varnish, it's just so good! One of my vices, though. I've got so many little pots of the stuff! My latest colours are bright purple and chocolate brown.

    Anyway, here's today's:

Green and yellow floral print tea dress (£25, Zara)
    Damson tights (£4, M&S)
    Chunky forest green cardi
Calf length slouchy black leather boots (£80, Office about 4 years ago. I adore these boots, but the soles are completely gone and they have holes in the heels. Taking them to the cobblers tomorrow, I wonder if they'll be able to rescue them?)
Gold nameplate necklace (SOOOO pleased I found this! Thought it was gone forever!)
    Large owl face ring
Black across body leather tooled bag

    Happy Tuesday!
  • Afternoon everyone!

Working today again, still a bit in pain though from my workout yesterday - it seems to be working though as my thighs were very twingy this morning and I could barely get downstairs!

    Anyways, today's outfit is:

    - Pink V neck jumper (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Brown tweed look wide leg trousers (H&M via sister)
    - Cream quilted ballet pumps with black patent toes (New Look)
    - Electric blue trench coat (New Look) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag
    - Usual jewellery

Perfume and nail polish are the same as yesterday.

I'm here until half five, then I'm off home to job hunt and chill out.

    Have a good day everyone!

whoohoo, we'll have o match nails one day :)

I have LOADS of nailvarnish, but most of it has been in strage for a few years...I'm hoping against hope that having been kept cool and dark a large percentage will still be usable when we crack the storage cases and move.
