Just arrived back after a very successful shopping trip (have been searching for the perfect leather jacket for aaaages - not a bomber, more biker style but without an excess of zips - and found an amazing Steve Madden one in TK Maxx! It fits the bill perfectly, was the only one left, was in my size... and for £50 not a bad price either!) and am wearing:
Yellow, purple and grey jersey dress
Black vest
Black leggings
Forest green chunky cardigan
Black waist belt with gold bucklet
Green pumps with bows
Going to nip out for some supplies and set about cooking a Sunday roast for me and OH. Happy Sunday!0 -
Afternoon gang!
Just made a delicious mushroom tagliatelle after a morning's hard car-booting.
Picked up a few bargains but it certainly wasn't up to the usual standard, too many counterfeit DVD stalls, fake sports gear and burger vans so Grammargirl, your foray to TK Maxx was probably a wise decision.
Today's outfit:
Black jumpsuit with heart print (£3 sample stall on market)
Denim jacket with the sleeves hacked off (Jumble sale DIY job)
Vintage black leather riding boots (Car boot sale £1)
Statement choker made from recycled forks and rupee coins (Indian market)
Black leather belt with silver rivets (10p jumble sale)
Vintage silver earrings (Mum's jewellery stash)
Silver tribal bangles and rings (India)
1970's black oversized shades
Celia Birtwell tote (Car boot sale 50p)
I've got a huge pile of eBay wrapping to do but I think I may attempt to do something creative instead.
Have a restful afternoon!

Hellooooo!:hello:
Grammargirl, you always knew in your heart you weren't gonna make it to the booty, didn't you????? I think we all knew, anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
LIR, think you new hair colours sound just the thing, warm you up for Autumn and Winter!
Embarrassed to admit I missed my "famous for 5 minutes" moment this weekend, having got the filming time wrong...it was actually on Friday afternoon 3pm to 6pm when I was at work anyway. Wonder if verynewmoneysaver will be waving in the background when it's on tele??????
Hope everyone is good! Just been on very quick and fairly random troll round shops. Before my hols bought a dusky pink and sort of caramel pattterned stretchy jersey tunic dress from Next ,.....not my usual colours at all but I do like it on! Footwear dilemma though. Anyway bought a cute pair of pearly dusky pink pumps with a little bit of criss cross lacing on the front in TJ Hughes........got £2 change out of a fiver, so quite happy.
Also met someone there I haven't seen for about 10 years, so gabbing for AGES!
Enjoy what's left of the day!

I've got a cold, so I'm full of snot and back in my PJs0 -
Morning all..
Ooh I love TK Maxx, haven't found any in a while but whilst I was at uni they used to have Irregular Choice shoes at seriuous reductions. Now I love it for furniture and kitchen accessories, tend to find something super everytime I go, so try to limit myself to one trip a month (well, OH does anyway)..
Had a lovely weekend, took my little sister to our holiday house in Wales for the weekend, and we met our other sis at her Uni halls for a morning of exploring her new town
Also made it to the beach..even though the weather wasn't exactly fab..
Anyways, today's outfit not v. inspired as I'm not feeling well..
Blue diner dress with white seagull print and huge white buttons, Primark..
Black leggings and cardi
Black bracelets and a red sparkly bangle
Blue and white nautical stripe ballet pumps with red ribbon detail..Primark0 -

Hiya folks. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Didn't do much, other than have a bit potter round town. Lovely manageress in Lush told me the Christmas stock is coming in Wednesday and going to be out on Thursday - just in time for payday!
It's a dreary grey day here up north as well. I'm on early shift this week, so struggling at the moment to stay awake. I'm by no means a natural early riser! :rotfl:
Anyway, outfits are very rarely inspiring on this shift - it's a wonder I don't end up coming in in pjs!
So, today's unexciting number is:
dark blue cropped trousers (M&S)
charcoal tshirt (New Look)
oversized charcoal grey jumper (Wall)
grey Uggs
blue duffel coat (TK Maxx)
tan Roaxanne tote0 -
Morning everyone!
Work again today, and today's outfit is:

- Electric blue trench coat (New Look) to come into work
- Brown leather handbag
- Usual jewellery
Perfume is Gwen Stefani L, and nail polish is Nails Inc South Molton Street.
In work until half five, then home to do my workout and to look for jobs.

Morning all,
Very slow start to today - our youngest cat did a disappearing act on Friday afternoon, we'd given her up for dead on Saturday night and I was in bits...still sat by the back door calling her, was sure i heard her...and sure enough, she's gotten under the floorboards somehow and was stuck! After a bit of floorboard pulling up and a pack of ham, she's out & okBut seriously tired now thanks to that, and doing a carboot at 5.30 yesterday morning
Made £120 to be put toward a new coat, still not bought one as weather's been ok
Todays outfit it:
Topshop Martha jeans (got them in a charity shop for £3.30 - like new)
White v neck T by Burberry (not chavvy I promise, it's just a lovely fitted plain white T) £3 in the TK Maxx sale
Blue cardi from Topshop - about bum length with pretty bow detail to do up
Thick brown belt
Presently wearing old blue Uggs as I'm in the house but will swap for either brown Uggs or black studded pumps
Big brown bag
Marc Jacobs heart watch necklace
Still a bit of a scruff but at that pregnant in between stage - lots of things make me look fat, but I'm not big enough to wear anything maternity style so stuck in a rut for now!xBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0
