  • Afternoon lovelies!

First chance Ive got to get on here today!

Welcome to the newbies and yay for another red head (well mine is dyed but Im classing myself as one as its the only colour that suits me!).

who was talking about city shorts? I can only get away with them if I wear sky high heels otherwise they make me look dumpy- Ive learnt the cropped look does nothing for a girl under 5 foot 3 lol!

    Wearing:

    dark blue skinny flare jeans
lemon and white checked short sleeve top
    purple roll sleeve cardi
    brown pirate boots
    pink stone heart earrings
red and purple stone double wrap necklace
    silver butterfly ring
wore my black coat and cerise pink sequin beret when I went out.....

So I guess you could say I dont tend to dress in colours that match my red hair but its all or nothing with me- gotta match or be completely contrasting!

Anyway pics on the blog now.

ETA : PF your package is on its way hun sent first class today :)

giddynici, yes, I love the necklace so much, I am a magnet for cute jewellery! :) Hope it all arrives in time for my hols.

The seller just messaged me again to offer me 50% off the dress as it has a mark on it, but I am afraid that it might not come out, so am (very) reluctantly returning it.

    thank you lostin

Vicki - I've got quite muscular thighs so city shorts make me look quite chunky in that area. I think I need to ake a friend shopping and try on lots of different styles and get her to take photos! *wonders who I can rope in to the challenge* I know what you mean about wide legged trousers, I like them cos they feel comfortable but aren't always the most flattering. I think I'll try anothe skirt tomorrow

I love wide leg trousers but it depends on how you wear them they are best with chunky heels (says she who wore hers with flats the other day!), I personally think they suit you :)

  • wow I've only been away a couple of hours and there is LOADS of chat :)

Yay this thread is growing, welcome to all the newbies..be warned you'll all end up with blogs in the end if you haven't already :D

Tara - such a shame about the dress :(:(

No news on the green shoes yet, I'll leave it another day and then raise it through ebay :(

Daisy - Glad post arrived safe, should keep you going for a bit and help you find out what you do/don't like. I'm about to have a redbush & vanilla myself, yummy.

    Today I am wearing:

Black riding boots - Hobbs £5 via charity shop
    Black primark skinny jeans £8
Black jersey polo neck - Asda £3
Grey victorian inspired cardi - £20 new look (and that was in the sale, expensive for me but I fell in love)
Pink flower earrings £1.50 asda sale

Pics will go up on blog soon, I took Alex's advice and put the camera at a higher angle, so hopefully that will have helped.
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I couldn't remember which blog I saw them on which inspired me to wear them so it must have been yours (thank you), with the leopard print flats? that looked so cute, I've got some leopard flats so I might wear them together with th trousers next time x

  • I'm 36 and if I didn't shop at New Look I wouldn't have 75% of my wardrobe!!!!!

Welcome newbies - looking forward to the blogs.

I would love Florence Welch's hair (and figure!).

I've just been out and bought a coat and two pairs of shoes but they were for Sam not me. Got some fab stuff in Brantano though I wanted these but I was well behaved. Spent my weekly spare pennies on my Alice Pallette. I will have to list something on ebay instead.

COuld you cover the mark with a brooch or something?
