Afternoon all
Hello all the new posters *waves*
I take my own pics with the timer function on the camera and a cheapo but very handy tripod from Lidl. I'm not a natural in front of the camera though so they don't tend to look very good!
Today's outfit is:
Grey v-neck long jumper - Dotty P
Black leggings - M&S
Black and cream heeled brogues (love these shoes so much)
Silver and black beaded necklace - Tu
Two silver cocktail rings0 -
um...trying to decide whether to bid on these boots or not...I love boots and haven't got any like them...
decisions decisions*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Blog photos? I either use the self-timer mode or ask my long-suffering partner. I often think the ones I take myself better as Jon keeps making me laugh.
I'm quite tempted with one of these:

I'm always arranging rather precarious-looking towers of books and other random pieces of tat to position the camera on.0 -
Caroline, what about doing personalised name plates for bedroom doors or wendy houses? You could sell in ebay.
Oooh that's a fab idea. Little girls love things like that. Boys tend to be more character focused and that could be copyright issues I imagine. I have done birth celebration samplers and things but they can take a long time to do. Thanks!0 -
ooh those are lovely Queen they would be very versitile- good with a skirt and coloured tights? I wish Id bought black boots this year rather than my brown ones**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0

I port my laptop across the room and set iSight going and then scurry away and try to get a pose that's not too blurry (poetry in motion I ain't.)
I think I must be the only one here who doesn't actually like Cadbury's chocolate in any of its various incarnations. Do I have to hand in my woman card now?"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

Yes leave the room quietly please and hang your head in shame *tut***"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
Queenie - I don't bid on shoes unless I see the soles!
Goan - I would end up with pop in my camera but looks like a clever idea. I don't think you have any tat lying around!0 -

Neither do I, Magpye! Disgraceful admission for a woman from the West Midlands, home of Bournville. I worked there for a while and the constant stink of chocolate made me heave. Give me a packet of chilli nuts any day of the week.0 -

My home looks like Steptoe's yard, I just stick it all in a cupboard before I take photos.
Queenie - My sensible head says that it's almost spring, if you buy those boots they're going to be stuck in a cupboard until next autumn and you may have gone off them by then.0
