Hello
Hope everyone is well? I too have college work to be getting on with Daisy, I just can't bring myself to open the book...oops.
I got some black suede knee high boots today from ebay. I forgot I'd bought them so it was a lovely surprise, they're as good as new and only £7.50 so I am chuffed. They will do for over the skinnies on a night out I reckon.
I got my DS some Jasper Conran pjs (v posh!) in the Debenhams sale because I bought the Alice and Wonderland thing and I felt guilty! There's a lot of emotions involved in shopping!
I'm not wearing much exciting, got a blue batwing cardi on so dressed for comfort.
Re: the pear shaped ladies - me too! I like it that way too, I have "curvy" thighs and I'm fed up of feeling like they are some sort of affliction. I feel slimmer in tighter trousers, wide legged trousers make me feel like a grecian column, not good! I also have a chest so smocks make me look ridiculous. It is nice to finally realise this and stop chasing some mini-length shift dress look (which looks great, just not on me).
I shall climb off my soap box now ... :cool:0 -
daisybella, what is your course (if I'm not being too nosey)? xo
media law through the NCTJ distance learning programme [national council for the training of journalists]
I only started it just under a month ago and have almost finished 1, of the 2 modules and have until the end of June to get both done and submitted.
I am being way too hard on myself, but as soon as I start anything involving education I go in to full scale "nothing but 24/7 devotion is good enough" mode and spend the entire time anxious and guilty even though I LOVE the course0 -
Well I'v loaded my pics, please excuse the attitude face in pic 4! and I look like I've been taken smile lessons from Victoria beckham, which is why I don't often smile!!*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150

Daisy why not give yourself the rest of the day off and commit to doing so many hours tomorrow?
Tara - I don't need encourgement!! Stopping and thinking often helps. and I think you've got a lot to share on a blog, mybe start with details and build up? my OH thinks I'm a loon anyway so I'm just living up to that by taking pics of myself and posting them on the web.
I've got the iceskating on in the background, so pretty*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Yeah, I think the more I try and force today the less I will get done, it just feels like failure
It doesn't help that I'm not home alone today, I work better when I am. Idk why haha. I have my dad home all next week but I can work with him in the house as he doesn't chatter to me like Mum does
I'm having a rough day I think, too little sleep has knocked my concentration. I now how my memory foam mattress thingy though so fingers crossed!
Sorry to be such a moaner all the time0 -

Thanks for all the photo tips girls! I think OH would be disgusted if I asked him to take pics of me in various outfits for no apparent reason. :rotfl: I'm also not sure I'm brave enough to publish them to a blog. Maube individual details e.g. earrings or some of my shabby chic house finds?
Alexnikov - I love the sound of that sweet website, I love getting a quarter of boiled sweets! There are a few shops here that still sell them, mmm.
I haven't actually told anyone I've got a blog. I'm not ashamed of it or anything, I dunno, I just don't quite want to tell anyone
They're on Quidco too
Queenie you look amazing0 -
