I feel so silly because I've only known her for about 6 months but some people in life I really connect with and she was one of them. We might stay in touch but it won't be the same, there always seems to a be a stronger tie with someone who you are walking along side to a common solution and when their solution becomes different you have to take a step back.

I know it sounds like I'm probably talking in riddles and in the third person but that's ok

Oh honey *hugs* I know what you mean - doesn't make it any easier to cope with for you though, does it?
  • It's lunch time soon anyway so I'll get myself a cup of herbal tea to haev with my lunch (uni do a nice lavender and camomile) and smoke several roll ups!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Wow, lavender tea sounds yum and perfectly calming. Cigarettes are my automatic stress response :o

Oh, weather looks a bit brighter so fingers crossed it'll stay that way at least until I've done what I need to out.

I love lavender tea, we make it with dried lavender...lovely mauve tea that smells good...

I can't find sme earrings DH bought me. They've been sitting on sparkly corner for a couple of weeks and I keep thinking, ''Must attach them, must put them away'' and then then yesterday I went to do it and they weren't there....:( I better go through the hoover bags....

eta: found them! I'd already hung them up!!! :)
  • I used to make it with dried lavender, we had a fab tea shop which sold all different types as well as dried herbs to make your own, it closed a while ago though and I didn't seek out another source

Sorry to hear about your earrings, hope you find them soon x

    Afternoon, gang!

Queenie, sorry to hear that you're sad, big hugs from me xx
Lost, glad you found your earrings, I hate that heart-lurching moment when you fly into a blind panic and assume something's gone for good.

Vile here, so cold, grey and miserable. The snow is indispersed with hail and it's just so depressing ....41 days till India and counting.

Just zooming through some eBay photographs and had a yoga session earlier. Looking forward to tonight's jumble sale (hopefully I'll be able to post some finds on the blog).

    Today's outfit:
    Denim leggings (Market)
Edwardian lady lace-up boots (Chazza shop)
MNG long sleeved skinny black top (Car boot)
Black smock with tapestry yoke (Topshop)
Black skinny fringed scarf (Pressie from a blog reader)
Vintage brown suede waistcoat (Chazza shop)
    Silver bangles and rings (India)
Ethnic hoop earrings with coins (Chazza shop)

Have a nice Thursday afternoon, lovelies!

    Goan
    xxx

    Oh that is gorgeous.... :A

((((hugs)))) also, that's a shame about your friend, I totally understand what you mean. How did the lavender tea go down? I love making lavender tea, we have 2 health food shops very close by so I get dried lavender from them. I put some into a pretty little bowl by the bed and have a sniff of it if I can't sleep.
