That is a lovely top, TD. I guess the only way to stop it gaping is a couple of stitches at the crossover point. Or could you wear a vest or bandeau top under it in one of the colours that are in the top?
Grr. Really awful nights sleep, have woken up with nightmares three times so in the end I've just given up! Going for coffee before work at 7.30 so just about to get up, straighten hair and choose outfit, along with taking a few photos of the next eBay bits before work.0 -

I'm quite excited about the velvet leggings, any ideas how long new look deliveries usually take daisy?
CL, will pm you
It was a local charity shop - there's a bit of damage to it, with some fading but there's definitely enough for a skirt. I thought I'd seen something similar on the Get Cutie website, but I can only see a black and white Eiffel Tower print. I so wish I hadn't gone on there now - they've got a sale on and I do like the dresses!
Had to leave for work at 5.45 this morning - it was pitch black, freezing and felt like the middle of the night and I really did not want to get up at all. I really hate early shifts, I'm not a morning person in the slightest.
Currently wearing:
grey wool wide legged trousers
black 3/4 sleeve ribbed jumper
black boots
eta: I love those shoes piratefairy!0 -
ooh, i love get cutie, i have a pink eiffel tower print skirt of theirs, which i shall bring out of wardrobe hibernation i think!!

Morning gang!
Hope everyone's had great weekends and Piratefairy, fab shoes as always!
We've got 2 inches of snow here, it's a beautiful bright and sunny day but bloomin' chilly. The cats only managed about 2 minutes outside and came back meowing with chilly paws. I'm having a blitz on ebay photos this morning because if I want to get to Goa for a month in March I'd better start earning some money!
I am wearing:
Dove grey jersey hareems (TopShop summer sale)
Vintage black school leotard (jumble sale)
Huge statement choker made from rupee coins (India)
Silver bangles and rings (India)
Silver filigree earrings (H&M via car boot sale)
Knitted Nepali slipper socks (India)
Have a great day.

Hi everyone:DI am out of my slump and have regained some sort of figure after christmas so have started to dress with a bit of inspiration again, at one point even the thought of choosing an outfit made me go back to bed:( I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on the reading I missed on here so I hope everyone is well, its sooo good to be back to this thread, I love posting on here and reading the lovely, different outfits, did any of you who write fashion blogs see the feature in yesterdays Daily Mail mag on the top ones? Oh my gosh, I am so unbelievably tired. We were away in a truly fabulous holiday cottage for my Mum's 60th birthday weekend and decided to stay over last night as we were so enjoying our peaceful tv-free evenings spent reading in front of the log fire and playing board games. That meant getting up at 6am in minus 6 degree weather to dethaw the car and then drive home over the moors though. I was knackered anyway and having to concentrate so hard on the road has made my eyes hurt
My outfit today isn't even worth describing as it was my "emergency" outfit that got shoved in the bag at the last moment just in case we did decide to stay longer, or got soaked out walking. Not exactly the most stylish combo of clothing.
I bought two lovely things in the Dotty P shop in Skipton though (yes, I know practically my entire wardrobe is from there!) - a fab jumper and a pretty cotton dress, £10 each in the sale. Photos to follow this evening...0
