Afternoon girls
How's everyone this morning?
Loulou, the Elf stuff is really good. I can recommend the moisture care lip colour - the pink lemonade shade is lovely. It tastes slightly minty and I swear it leaves my lips looking slightly fuller. That would be my must-have desert island item. The brushes are good quality as well. Didn't like the cream eyeshadow though, it felt a bit thick and heavy. Oh, and the tweezers aren't bad either.
Well, so much for ringing the changes with a skirt today, it was just too cold when I got up. Currently channeling my inner bag lady with:
black leggings
charcoal grey asymetric tshirt dress/tunic
oversize jumper over the top (it's been on and off, like our office heating!)
black boots
purple & black stripy socks0 -
Question ladies…..
If you saw a dress that you loved from your favourite designer and it could be a limited edition so maybe only available for a short space of time and you had some cash saved up for a rainy day would you treat yourself to it?
(p.s the dress in question is £69)One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Yes.I wouldn' go in to debt for i, but if I had the cash available and it was a special dress that I liked, yes.
I have resisted the makeup. About to go out, in a HUGE pair of sunglasses.I'm really excited about this facial, I think I might fall asleep though:o

I would probably sell a kidney to be honest. I have no willpower.
Guess what I did today? Bought another pair of shoes  Such a bargain though, only £7 in DP sale (didn't I say I never go in there? Goanmad's fault)
Hubby is away tonightso won't be able to update blog with todays outfit (which is only jeans and a tshirt, with blazer and scarf when i went out) I will probably pop on all my shoe purchases this week.

If I could afford the dress through savings then YES
if I would get in to debt, or not be able to afford to buy essentials then no.
Sounds like you can afford it...so go go go!
Caroline- all this shopping is so catching, *must stop looking at new look website*0 -
Yes to fairyshazza, but that said, like Caroline i have no willpower either..which is proven by the fact i spent half my week's food budget on a sequin jacket in the tesco sale last night
it is beautiful tho, and it is payday next week!! lol

I can easily afford it as I have savings plus I have made £75 on Ebay so far this week
I think I just needed some like minded ladies to confirm that it was fine to purchase said item. Now I can either just go for it and order online or wait two weeks until I go down to London to their shop as if I pay via cash I will get 10% off the price.
I think I may set myself a challenge to sell some more stuff on Ebay and then decide. I am rather worried that if I leave it they may not have it in my size. God why am I so indecisive?!One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Yes. The site is about money daving and making these purchases work for us and making them sensibly. Its no more about a straight forward no spend than it is a bout foolish uncontrollable spend IMO.0
