Just been lazing at home and a trip to Tesco today, so I'm in
Black leggings and a long leeve t shirt (both New Look), grey jumper tunic from Joe Browns, with black new high biker boots. Jewellery is usual and a chunky metal bangle.
Wish it would warm up a bit. I bought a nice shirt the other week but I haven't worn it yet!0 -
Caroline, I have so many newish clothes that I want to be wearing, but am having to live in the same old jeans and jumpers to stay warm. Think how lovely it'll be when it warms up even a little and we can dress as we please0

@Bronnie and @Daisybella - I had no hot water for about 10 days before Christmas and 2 weeks with a broken washing machine just before that. I feel your pain.0

I seem to have virtually lived in pj's for the past week and today is no different!
Back to work tomorrow though. Doom - my office has no heating and the rest of the building is going to be just as icy cos the heating system literally dates from 1895! Layers, layers, more layers will be needed. Think I'll take a blanket too.0 -
Oh man Alex- good luck with that!
I'm staying in tomorrow, having been told by GP last week not to be out in this weather,
and then going out everyday, I'm starting to see her point! So, I think I'll have a day of film watching and nail painting.0 -
I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit too so I can wear proper clothes instead of looking like an eskimo each time I go out!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

Yes, warmer weather please!! Cannot stand having to wrap up like an eskimo just to nip to the shops! I would really like to be able to feel my toes sometime soon!
Went out and played in the snow today, as hopefully all my wishing will come true and it might go away!
Wore:
Black leggings(H&M £5)
under skinny jeans(Primark £8)
white long vest top(Primark £3)
long sleeved spotty top(Primark £4)
thin grey jumper(H&M £5)
brown knitted gillet(Primark £8)
fairisle style slippers for the journey(Primark £5)
Added various scarves, hats, gloves, jackets and cherry print wellies for when in the snow!
Have finally started my blog :S feel free to take a peek and tell me what you think(is set as my homepage).

Aha! It's you! I thought it might be. Just had a little look at your blog - it's great! Welcome to the blogging world. It's lots of fun and I hope you like it!
Well, I didn't even update you with my outfit and now I'm back in my PJs, so it seems a little futile now. Hope you're all looking forward to Monday... blah.0 -
moonbabe.................the "sledging" picture on your blog is just gorgeous. I would have that enlarged, framed and on the wall if I were you!0

plumber said the people who had our house before had run the pipes outside, not in, and the resulting damage of the frozen pipe had burst the one in the garage.
might be worth checking if thats the problem with yours, it took a couple of hours, but our pipes now run inside.
we're actually considering sending the old owners the invoices for the things we've had to fix here, haha,
we're talking collapsing ceilings, a gas leak, faulty wiring and who knows what else that we've had to repair after Mr "I'll fix it even though I have no idea" had a go
Ooh sorry for the rant last night. honestly if I hadn't sat down and let vent here I'd have burst into tears of tiredness and frustration! I think it's the outside drain pipe that lies horizontally  to go under the back door that's frozen up.
I don't care now, I have a launderette next door to work. I shall take all my laundry there to be washed and dried until the freeze is over and stuff the cost! Happy to be supporting a fellow local business anyway!!:T Bought a long soft boyfriend cardi in black (Tu £14) and some long sleeved soft cotton tees (£7 each) for work today as mine are all sopping wet!!
Alex- 4 stones is amazing! Well done!0
