Morning all, cold here but no sign of the heavy snow we were forecast :D
Hopefully means I can get out and about later today, I hate being stuck inside, the only time I managed to go more than one day was when I had swine flu, and then I was too ill to care :p

Unsure what to wear as yet, really just popped on here because I promised someone a vegetable and chickpea soup recipe, and have forgotten who :o

I sell bits and pieces to friends and family but I'd like to try and sell a bit more, I signed up for folksy, but need to upload some pics and stuff! I love seeing other peoples jewellery too :)

    Today I've gone for summeryness!

I've got a 3/4 sleeve white scoopneck under a summery white blouse
Long beige asymetrical (sorry I cant spell!) cord skirt
over black leggings and my trusty evans knee length boots.

I don't have any me jewellery on today, just a hematite ring and silver bangle.

I'm lovely and toasty warm, but look a bit more summery so its win win!

and me but don't tell my husband!

I am still in pj's because I couldn't decide what to wear.

I only have to go to the post office today so I can wear what I want. I fancy heels today though as the snow has gone. So I will choose footwear first and then the rest of my outfit!:rotfl:
  • My little Fiesta is fearless in the snow!

My little 15-year-old Micra is the same - not a peep out of him in all this weather whilst all the posh rear wheel drives are getting stuck on hills!

Hello :hello: - I've been a bit of a lurker for a while and would like to join in if you'll have me - in an effort to give myself some incentive to stop being a scruff and make some effort on a morning (I think some of this has to do with getting out of the school geek mindset and feel like it's OK for me to look nice :o), and to try and be a bit more adventurous when buying new clothes.

So today I'm at work and wearing:

    - Black vest and black jumper (H&M)
    - Black and grey vertical stripe wool skirt (Oasis sale years ago)
    - Thick black tights (Tesco)
    - Patent grey Mary Janes (I'm almost 6ft and have lived in flats for years, trying to get into heels tho and embrace the Amazonian in me) (Barratts sale last week)
    - Long grey belted cardi with snowflake pattern (New Look)
    - Fossil brown leather watch, antique silver and green amber ring, Grandma's silver locket and black plastic beads from a tiny second hand jewellery shop in Bath (10p!)

    For outside:
    - Grey coat (Vila)
    - Long chunky navy scarf (River Island sale)
    - Grey leather 'driving' gloves (Gap sale)
    - Rocket Dog wellies with red and gold socks

So I've made a good effort with the skirt and heels :D, but I'm still very black/grey :o

Tete- welcome :) nothing wrong with black/grey! I seem to live in it right now :o

    Outfit:
    Thermal cami: uniqlo
Black fine knit long sleeve top: asda
Grey/silver bubble hem jersey dress: la redoute, ancient and somewhat neglected at the back of my wardrobe
Black thermal tights: tesco (must get more of these)
Black chunky long line cardigan: new look, swapped with mum for my identical brown one!

Gloves, snood, hat, hot pink coat and wellies will be added when I go out.

Thanks Daisy - here's looking forward to that long hot summer they're (already) promising us!

I feel funny wearing heels in work, I feel like I'm strutting rather than walking everywhere, and have an exaggerated bum-wiggle! :o

Oh, I'm the opposite, Tete, I can't stand wearing flat shoes - that's the only thing i really dn't like about the recent weather, heels just aren't practical..

    What's a snood?

Ok, have gone for casual student today:
Cream tee with flowers on (Gap)
Blue bootleg jeans (Primark - and they're falling down)
    Black fleece
    Robot socks
My watch and thin silver chain I always wear

For the outside: my etnies and my Trespass jacket
