Afternoon all, not been on for a bit
Black and purple 'Rebel' t-shirt - Primark
Dark wash skinny jeans - River Island
My new charcoal Bailey button uggs - on their first outing today
Dark grey boyfriend cardi - George @ Asda

Afternoon, all!
Today, have been wearing dark grey/khaki cargoes with a white shirt. Hair in combs and low pony. Deep red lippie, black mascara and eyeliner.
But - am considering redoing my hair. It has has a semi permanent chocolate brown in (to cover the pure white streak emerging from my crown), but I don't really feel 100% right with brown hair.
It's sort of a conker colour naturally (apart from the white bit).
It's been baby blonde, pure ginger, burned orange, highlighted, lowlighted (that was rubbish - I overheard her telling her mate over the hairdryer about how ginger was revolting - b***h! - to find that she had covered every trace of red in my hair with black and ash blonde stripes - no, I didn't pay for it), deep purple, blue, pillarbox red (great for an interview sprung on me the following morning by the job centre - the man at the hairloss clinic was a little surprised) and dark electric blue/black.
It's actually in pretty good nick, so I could choose almost anything, but I'm having problems making my mind up this time.
Anyone have some constructive input?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Jojo, what about copper red? Gorgeous for autumn. I ADORE red hair and think people have such a disgusting attitude towards it. Coming from a hairdresser it's just inexcusable, what an awful thing to say! Good for you, not paying.
Hope you find a colour you like... I love the sound of pillarbox red, especially if you dressed it up with a 40s burlesque style! All flicky eyeliner, floral corsages and nipped in waists.0 -
Thank you, Grammar Girl! I'm thinking dark copper - DD1 would go spare if I were to emulate her natural hair colour. Hers is positively luminous red and wavy. We both have green eyes, but she got the best colour hair.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

Popping in for a quick contribution. We have friends staying (why is it when people stay you feel less friendly towards them?) and I've been really busy. My last contribution before the weekend was a bit glum, and I'm afraid it gets glummer: it seems the weight gain might be associated with the treatment I'm having and if thats the case I'm going to have to stop. My weight is a ''big issue'' and I feel lost inside a body that hampers me and depresses me. This treament is set to last 10 months and I simply CANNOT cope with gaining 11lbs a fortnight for the next ten months when I'm so unhealthily overweight as it is.
As it is I could weep and clothes just are not helping much!
BUT life goes on, you know? Today its the iffy orange dress (primarily because it fits.) I'm wearing my vintage shoes with it and I've got a nice bag out of storage (canvage orange and brown) because accessories rule ATM. I have a weird self mixed nail varnish on toes: think pink goth, its very dark black/purple over laid/marbled with candy pink. It would have looked cool if I were ten years younger, rofl. Today I'll make time for sensible grown up red I think.
The rain is a nightmare especially being so busy. We don't have a drier, but with a house ful the airers can't really come out, but then outside the rain falls.
Tomorrow everyone is out so I'll wash like a fiend and get everything airing inside. Then on Thursay/Friday I'm not sure. Friday I'm driving up to the City to ollect DH/works drinks thing, having dropped friends off at a hotel for the weekend before they rturn home. Bit worried about what to squeeze my fat little body into on Friday.0 -
Morning all!
Another relatively quiet day in work, so here is what I am wearing:
- Pink scoop neck jumper with black rose corsage at shoulder (both Topshop)
- Grey pinstripe wide leg trousers (Zara)
- Black peep toe shoes (eBay)
- Usual jewellery
- Electric blue trench coat (New Look)
- Brown leather handbag
Working until half five or so, interspersed with trying to find out who's on Strictly Come Dancing this year, then home to apply to more jobs.

Thanks tara. It depends what you mean by essential. I certainly won't die without it, but its making me much more mobile (ironically because I'm going to get so fat I can't walk at this rate) and has reduced my pain amazingly. It has other seriously life improving benefits too.
In fact, although I've done my walk and animals etc this morning I'm just off to dump my guests at a local tourist site then I'm going to squeeze in another hours walk (see, this sort of activity is not at all easy without the treatment, I can walk but not with vigour: not like a cardio benefit).0
