Skinny Minnie DD1 is like you, she has just got an amazingly flattering pair of black bootcut jeans with stretch in them from Next for £20. They have just enough springyness so as to not go saggy around her legs or knees, a nice lean sillouhette and they have a slightly higher waist, so no chance of unauthorised belly views! She's wearing them with a lovely Jane Shilton graphic flower top, black with white print, kind of panelled with an elasticated gathered scoop neck.

I'm in dark brown linen trousers with brown/blue print strappy top and toning colour bracelet today. It's cool in the heat but not a get yer bits out kind of thing.

Just wanted to say Jojo thanks sooooo much for the recommendation - bought these yesterday and I love them already :j:j:j

Hello all. It's been so quiet in this thread for the past few days - where are you all? I need to hear what fabulous things you've been parading around in!

    Here's mine for today:

Skinny jeans (£7, River Island via eBay)
Nude loose jersey with fabric ball necklace attached (£16? Topshop)
Blue and white striped blazer (£25, New Look)
Brown leather wedge heels (£15, New Look sale)
    Stack of skinny gold bangles
    Owl face ring
    Flick of copper liner

I'm hoping for two exciting eBay deliveries today - a BNWT Mango tea dress (£2.82) and a pair of brown leather Miss Sixty cowboy boots, worn once (£31, originally cost £125). Eeeek, so excited!

I love doing that, I spent last night writing my list of outfits to wear when I go to Istanbul (two weeks today - I think I could be described as 'organised to a fault'!).

    Today's outfit is:

    - White shirt with thin grey stripes (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Grey pinstripe jacket (Zara)
    - Grey pinstripe wide leg trousers (Zara)
    - Nude ballet pumps with black ribbon (Dorothy Perkins)

In work til half five then home to job hunt and pack for going to see my boyfriend tomorrow :D

Namaste! Hello All! Hope you're well.

Sorry I've been MIA for a week, I've been recovering from my lost weekend at the V Festival and eBay shop sales have gone through the roof so I've been busy, busy, busy!

At the mo I'm wearing a vintage wrap with a bluebird print (which I got free at a car boot sale as the lady said I looked like I appreciated weird clothes) and a shower cap on my head (hotel freebie) 'cos I'm doing my roots.

Went to see the awesome LostProphets at Wolves Civic last night and my ears are still ringing so I'll describe the outfit I wore instead:

Grey silk mini dress covered in rows of lime green bugle beads and black fringing (£3 from local market stall selling samples)
TopShop grey wash Baxter skinnies (Car boot sale £1)
Grey patent leather over-the-knee high heeled boots with silver platforms (River Island January sale £20)
Huge Warehouse black wood bangle with black gems (£1 New Life Charity shop)
    12 Silver tribal bangles (India)
    Indian silver tribal rings (India)
Shoulder length silver chandelier earrings with black stones (Souk in Tangiers about 15 years ago)
Vintage black leather bag shaped like a horseshoe (50p car boot sale)

Accessorised by a pint of Strongbow I inadvertently chucked over myself whilst dancing. :rotfl:

Have a good day folks! Once I've finished my hair it's another full-on eBay day, the monthly church jumble sale and 4 nights of parties, yipeeee!!!!!!

    Afternoon ladies,

Well, today's the first time I've been dressed in anything more than PJ's and lounge clothes in days, so thought I'd post and try to get my motivation back :) Being unemployed really is not conducive to wearing nice clothes!!

    Dark grey skinny jeans
Red TU (Sainsburys) top - it's 3/4 sleeved tight on the bust then pleated with a gathered hem, it's gorgeous and I love it, sounds rubbish in my description! Best bit is that I got it BNWT for 99p from a chazza shop :D
No shoes at the mo as I'm at home but think it'll be brown leopardy pumps & my big brown Accessorize bag :)

Cheap & cheerful jewellery - Primark! Or Topshop, always has lots of lovely jewellery, ooh or Debenhams always has a massive range.

    xxxxxxx
