    Morning everyone, welcome hellokittygal:D
Worn my favourite perfume, Philosphy pure grace.

I used to wear this and until you mentioned I had forgotten how lovely it is, I always got compliments about this perfume, there is a rumour going around that philosphy propducts may be discontinued as part of the Estee Lauder cut backs, dont know how true it is but maybe worth bearing in mind.

Just hanging around indoors atm so am dressed in breast cancer awareness dressing gown and slippers from peacocks eating last nights cauliflower cheese for breakfast;)
Thank you for this site Martin

Hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a posh trouser outfit (suit or trousers and fancy top) for a special holiday.

I'm not loaded, so am looking for something around £50 - maybe a tad more, but not much.

At a pinch, I'd go for a skirt and top, but prefer trousers in a floaty material if possible.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

hi consultant31 and welcome to the thread! A bit more info would be good, approx idea of height and body shape, sleeveless top or a bit more covered up? Colours?

    hi there to hellokittygal too!!

Hello Consultant31! Tell us more, where are you off to? Is it a cruise or a hot, exotic location?
Are you after a tailored jacket with floaty trousers/skirt or a boned, strapless top?
What colours do you have in mind? What's your body shape like?
    Where do you live?
Presumably you've searched eBay. Do you have a Littlewood's Clearance store near to where you live? Our local branch has a great choice of "dressy" clothes at very good prices. TK Maxx is always good for occasion wear as do those out of town discount villages (Cheshire Oaks or Bicester).

Hello fashionable folk. Consultant, tell us more and we'll do our best to help! Although formal dressing is not my strong point so might leave it to the other knowledgeable ladies. If you ever need to know what mixes well with jeans, I'm your girl! :)

I'm feeling horrifically unwell today but have got up and dressed because I hoped it'd make me feel better. I was wrong! We're also having a water pressure problem due to a burst pipe, so no shower for me! Ugh, what a day. As is to be expected, I haven't made much of an effort...
    Skinny jeans
    Grey 'Holy Shi-Tzu' t-shirt
    Grey woolly cardigan
    Black suede pixie boots
    Long silver coin necklace

Was up 'til 2am watching scary movies so might bake some cupcakes then go back to bed! Happy Sunday all.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I hope you feel better soon Grammar Girl. I am feeling grotty too, now I have an eye infection and mainy, as a result, I feel pretty grumpy. Have to throw aay the mascara I wore yesterday ...only one eye is infected and it came on well after makeup went on, but pays to be careful.

Unlike you I knew getting dressed wasn't the answer so after getting nti biotics and doing the animals I stripped and crawled back into bed. DH is being an utter darling even though he knows I'm really malingering today and I'm being spoiled rotten. I'm just about to get in to the Harris Lavender Oil bath he's run me. Bye!

Get well soon, GrammarGirl and Lostinrates!

Stayed in last night and thankfully a Trick or Treat free evening. Watched X Factor for the first time this series thinking "rock night" would be marginally more interesting than usual but apart from that tasty guy with the cool afro I was seriously underwhelmed.

It's vile out there today. Been out on a mission for a replacement freeview box (which we've just plugged in to find it doesn't work) and I'm not going anywhere now until tomorrow morning.

    Today's outfit:
Vintage flared jeans (car boot sale)
Mango black skinny long sleeved top with buttons (car boot sale)
Huge gold Aztec earrings (TopShop sale)
Tan boots with concealed platforms (Ex-Faith from local market)
Vintage Escada lion head belt (car boot)
Brass bangles and gold & wood rings (car boots and TopShop)
Vintage 1960's fake fur gilet (Hand-me-down from Mum)
Leather cartridge bag with gold studs (car boot sale)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hugs for everyone who's feeling poorly.

I'm just knackered today after working 9am-11pm yesterday and fairly grumpy as something is wrong with my car again. I've just spent £375 on having various thing fixed on it, bloody stupid machine

Ach, anyway, I haven't even bothered getting dressed yet. I have housework to do before cooking a meal for the girls from work - we all missed Strictly last night due to running the Halloween event so everyone's coming round to mine later on. I think I'll have a lovely Lush bath and then pick something cosy to wear.
