....................then we're having a lovely glass of white burgandy and a recipe I'm tinkering with for the village cookbook, will take about 7 minutes to cook : as good as a takeway I reckon!
Have a good weekend everyone.
7 minutes to cook...sounds like my kind of after-work meal.
LIR are you going to share this recipe or will we have to buy the village cookbook?!!
erichamster ...I think the kate moss dress is adorable and the colour is fab. You could easily improvise a pill box hat couldn't you? Shall I be the restraining hand on your shoulder that says you really don't need to buy another dress tomorrow?!!
Hallowe'en, I'll be working. DD has made pumpkin lanterns for work and home. Will be home late for a glass of witches brew (red wine) and a cudddle of my little black cat. Shame on us, we've already scoffed all the pumpkin soup she made which was absolutely (and surprisingly) delish!0 -
erichamster- I agree with Bronnie, the Kate Moss dress is amazing. Wear it!
I have to work this morning, meant to be fancy dress, but I'll go as er.. a checkout girl as usual
Off to a house party tonight, not really halloween themed, just an excuse to get my friendship group together really as we rarely see each other these days. We're having a girly sleepover too, something we've not done for..ooh...5 years?!
Not sure what I'm wearing yet. Not a costume as I don't have one! Right now I am in work uniform.0 -
I'm in work today, groan. Running an induction session for some potential new volunteers this morning, then decorating the house (the place I work in is a rather fab Tudor mansion) for our Halloween event and then spending the evening running round scaring people. I'm first aider though so can't wear a costume in case I actually have to treat anyone
So it's the following to wear for now:
Grey pumps - Next clearance
Indigo jeans - Dotty P's
Blue flower print top with broderie anglaise straps and hem - George
Grey cardi with detailing by buttons - Monsoon
Silver bangles
Cream shell earrings
and curly(ish) hair for a change
and all black to change into for the evening - trouser, tunic, cardi, sparkly pumps.0 -
Morning everyone, todays outfit
Dark blue and gold skinnys - Ed Hardy via TK Maxx

white vest top under tunic - Nike
Brown Biker boots - Aldo

Happy Halloween to you all! I've gone for the Beetlejuice look today and am wearing:
Black pinafore dress
Black and white striped roll neck
Black leggings
Black and white striped over the knee socks
Black ankle boots
Long silver coin necklace
And will add my leather jacket and possibly a cheery scarf so I'm not too black when I go out later. Pictures on the blog in a while, have fun!0 -

Hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a posh trouser outfit (suit or trousers and fancy top) for a special holiday.
I'm not loaded, so am looking for something around £50 - maybe a tad more, but not much.
At a pinch, I'd go for a skirt and top, but prefer trousers in a floaty material if possible.
Thanks in advance for any helpI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
