Hi everyone:)
Raining all day where I am, today I am wearing
White off the shoulder t shirt - Next
Dark Skinny Jeans - Paige Denim
Brown biker boots - Aldo
Fake fur fluffy cream jacket - Boohoo.com
LV Bucket bagUgg boots (fashion sacrilege I know, but so cosy!)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
Why sacrilege?
I think a lot of dedicated fashion followers see Ugg boots as mass produced, unoriginal and possibly even ugly! It doesn't help that they've been reproduced by every cheap shop going and worn by chavs with tracksuit bottoms. They're seen by high fashion houses as supremely unfashionable, hence the sacrilege.
However, I love mine! Everyone's entitled to their opinion when it comes to fashion - I think harem pants are hideous and I'd never wear a pair out of the house, but they're considered the height of fashion at the moment.0 -
I love Uggs
(but also love harem pants)

I do have a secret longing for those dark grey knitted Uggs with the buttons on but I can't even bring myself to spend £30 on the knock off Dotty P version, let alone pay full price for the real deal!
Oh dear, today's outfit is a total mishmash. I am car-less at the moment as it's in the garage having all sorts of expensive stuff done to it (as if I'm not skint enough!). Having walked home from work yesterday (about 2.5 miles), I've come to the conclusion that I can't walk that far with normal shoes and bag - it makes my feet hurt and my shoulders end up all weird from carrying a huge handbag for so long. So today it's:
Trainers - Schuh
Mid blue jeans - Dotty Ps
Blue long line vest with yellow sprig flower print and broderie anglaise straps - George
Grey thin stripe boyfriend cardi - Next clearance
Blue and cream daisy studs - Accessorize
Cream scarf - no idea
Grey checked winter coat - Evans
Funky black and sparkly silver striped fingerless gloves/mittens - Dotty Ps (very cute but I'm not impressed with the quality, there are loose threads all over them and I've only worn them once!)
And a rucksack - oh how unglamorous! It's mostly grey with some blue touches so at least it matches a bit0 -
I had the same issue with DP gloves, nightmare. Now I just buy a couple of cheap pairs in Primark or somewhere, or accessorize if I'm feeling flush
Off to the dentist shortly
and then a visit to my favourite local health food shop to stock up and have a chat with the owner about things (I'm so nosy about the goings on)
Wearing:
Black 3/4 sleeve cotton top: Matalan, couple of years ago?! I'm impressed it's not faded at all!
Black and blue leotard/skirt look dress with floral pattern (I'll post a pic on my blog today or tomorrow, I cant explain it well!): New Look
Bright blue tights: Boots
My faithful flat ankle boots: La Redoute
+ scarf and coat when I go out.0 -
I love Accessorize stuff :smileyhea
I must say though, I've found Asda gloves to be pretty long lasting and decent quality. Must go and rummage there for some new ones.0 -
They're seen by high fashion houses as supremely unfashionable, hence the sacrilege.
All the more reason to wear them then if you like them, why be dictated to by financially driven so called experts?, surly fashion is about self expression and feeling good for yourself, thats how I see it anyway;) I see Uggs as a modern classic, as you say supremely comfortable and imo they look good, however the rip off ones that collapse at the back I don't think are a good look, oh and I wear mine with tracksuit bottoms when the mood takes me:D
Todays outfit:-
Baggy ripped and faded jeans - Miss Sixty
Light blue angora tight fitting jumper with clear sequins - D&G Jeans
White vest top under jumper - Tesco
Flat white/cream/multi coloured boots - Ted Baker
Silver Metal belt - shop where I used to live
Beige paddington - Chloe
Have a great Thursday everyone:DThank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I posted yesterday but it seems to have vanished
!
How is everyone today? It's quite mild down here in sunny Hampshire. I'm in work all day today. Unfortunately when I woke up this morning I was convinced it was Friday...... gutted! :rotfl:
I love Ugg boots, but I don't have any. I really can't justify the cost of a "proper" pair, although might run to a pair of copies. My sil bought some Uggs last winter and sent them back in favour of a pair from Tesco. She said they were much more comfy lol. My dd loves her fake Uggs, she's 3!
Today I've got on:
long black vest - M&S 2 for £5
fitted black v-neck - M&S no idea how much
grey straight skirt - Primark £13
wide stretchy belt with a big buckle - Primark £3
short sleeved fitted jacket - Primark sale £5
opaques
black mary janes - DP sale £15
Loving the belt - I haven't really done belts since the 80's!! Remember the slouchy, round your hips ones??0 -
Hi all, I haven't posted on here for ages, need to get back in to it...
I'm all wrapped up today as I need to go in to the office and to football later:
(underneath) cream long sleeved bamboo top - Little Green Rock £20
Black short cap sleeved shift dress - Gap sale £10
beige shortsleeeved bolero cardigan - Debenhams sale £7
amber stone, black bead and metal broach - charity shop £1
black opaque tights - M&S
black biker boots - ASOS £30
black wool coat - topshop sale £30
black and white scarf - Fulham FC shop:beer:0 -
Morning all!
In work again today - my first week of working full time due to now getting paid - and another fairly busy one. So today's outfit, in preparation for lots of running around, is:
- Candy pink scoop neck jumper (Topshop via sister)
- Black flower corsage (Topshop)
- Grey wide leg pinstripe trousers (Zara via sister)
- Pewter metallic ballet pumps with jewel detail on toes (New Look)
- Electric blue trench coat (New Look) to come into work
- Brown leather handbag
- Usual jewellery
Perfume and nail polish are the same as they were two days ago.
In work until around five, then home to do my workout and work on a job application.
