Hey folks, hope you've all had a good day. It's yet another grim day here, wet, grey and dismal.
Well, I decided to ditch the baggy jumpers, as that's all I seem to have been wearing recently, so channelling my inner Annie Hall I'm wearing:
wide legged grey wool tweedy trousers (M&S Autograph £1 end of sale)
white stretch jersey shirt (M&S sale, ages ago)
black waistcoat (second hand shop, had it more years than I care to remember)
tan stack-heeled vintage brogue-type granny shoes (about 30 years old, mine, found in a cupboard at mum's)
wire and enamel 70s choker
swingy black coat (gran's wardrobe)
Special thanks to lostinrates for mentioning wide legged wool trousers which reminded me I had some :T0 -
I love wide legged wool trousers! So chic. I've just updated my blog if you want a peek at today's outfit... although I've been in my PJs since 9pm!0

GG loving todays outfit and pose! I'm going to get DH to take more pics of me, will be great to look back on when I'm old!
Glad someone else is still up, DH had a long day at work and last night our son didn't sleep well so we're all tired he went to bed, just I can't sleep if I go to bed too early....
Essentially I'm downstairs alone and nothing on telly!0 -

Hi Vicki! Thanks for your post in the fur/animal skins thread.
I felt like such a fool doing that pose, but I think it can get a little dull having shot after shot against a magnolia wall! There was nothing in the cup either as I don't drink tea or coffee... :rotfl:0 -
No problem x I like the candid look even though it was totally posed I didn't know it!
I used to love ANTM but we downgraded out Virgin to the cheapest package and lost Living. Even DH liked watching it.
Just finishing off the last of the red wine then I'll go up and ravish DH (or maybe not!)0 -
I'm turning in myself... happy sleeping/ravishing!0

That sort of evening wasn't it? Alsmost as soon s I got home i got changed: black lace baby doll, big cardi, pick turban and huge purpley-green woolen socks. (nothing like eclectic house wear IMO),0 -
Eclectic housewear is the best. I never wear anything "normal" when I'm lounging around.
I NEED the rain to hold off for a while as I'm baking biscuits as a wedding present (albeit it late) for a friend and realised I forgot to get flour! Also had an early phone call from the Drs to say I need to call in and pick up some anti-biotics for a UTI. Exciting. I'm sick of that place
Wearing:
Light grey shirt dress, slightly shimmer: Vero Moda- gift from a USA friend
Black tee under dress to protect my modesty, I don't have the cleavage to pull it off: New Look
Black tights with wet look leopard print detail: Primark
My usual flat black ankle boots: La Redoute
Blue/Green short winter coat: pinched from Mum
Must update blog with yesterday and today's outfits later. I was too lazy yesterday.0 -
Ugh, still suffering from my cold, which means i just went straight to bed last night, so the wardrobe mission is still to be done..
Today's outfit is a bit casual but an attempt to cheer me up..
Wearing a mustard/blue/pink/brown patterned skirt from Primark..
Black leggings, also Primark
Cream tshirt with perfumes print, River Island
Black satin effect cropped blazer, Evie
Blue pixie boots, Office
Starburst ring, Topshop
Blue chunky wool scarf, Oasis
Mustard coat, River Island
Will put pics on the blog..0 -
what do you all do with odd socks?
I have a big bag that I keep odd socks in, because I don't care if they match under boots. But, th number of odd socks I have is ridiculous now (far to many to just use as dusters)
Would the clothes bank like/appreciate odd socks? is there anything crafty but useful I could use them for? I'm not coming up with any ideas for sock re-use.0
