I can't see the dress for some reaosn, but I have a yellow silk skirt I often wear with a darkish green and yellow scarf. Its a bold combination, bolder than golds/bronzes, but it always makes me feel like a happy parrot. Which is possibly a better feeling than it sounds0 -
hi girlies!
just a little update on the clutch bag situation!!
Skintbuthappy and piratefairy and all who mentioned previously (sorry if I missed anyone by name )but I appreciate ALL your efforts! You have helped me clarify mt thoughts on this one!
Think I must be the clutch bag expert now having been all round town twice! I think the problem is the party season stuff is still coming in stock, I'm sure in a few weeks time, there'll be more in! Quite a few shops were clearing their shelves and re-merchandising as \i was looking.
Have ordered the Next pewter one online ( love the shape and style but they only had it in black snakeskin in store, so fingers crossed the pewter on is the right shade!), was going to order the gold one too just to see but it's a 2 week delivery time.

Whilst in Primarni, found a little gem to share with you though!
Very similar shape and style to this one piratefairy saw in Topshop

The Primark one is mock croc, in black or purple (preferred the black) patent. Far superior quality finish to some of the other bags there. I f you're looking for this type of more formal, structured clutch, I'd get down there quick! £6.......well, I just had to as well didn't I?
love

Afternoon all!
Had a fab Pilates class earlier and am busy eBaying this afternoon.
BF is in the process of redecorating the lounge and I persuaded him to hang my hideously expensive "Dutch by Design" multicoloured glass chandelier earlier (bought with last year's Xmas money) - it gladdens my heart just looking at it. I've posted some house photos on my blog today as I have no charged batteries in my camera.
Today's outfit:
Purple H&M hareems (Car boot 20p)
Layered purple and grey ribbed TopShop vests (50p each from last weeks' huge TS vest haul from the car boot)
Vintage cowboy boots (50p car boot)
Lakshmi devotional pendant (95p charity shop yesterday)
Silver tribal rings and bangles (India)
Polished turquoise stud earrings (Present)
Turquoise deep-V neck Missoni jumper (yes, Missoni and 10p from a jumble sale :j probably one of my bestest jumble sale bargains ever.)
Have a great half-way through the week wednesday, gang.
I'm off pay a birthday visit to my mum in a while at the mad house that is my parents' home - my Dad's deaf (but won't wear his hearing aid) and my Mum gets dafter with age so I'll be needing a midweek drink with my tea!

I found these Hayles, I wonder if they're any good? I especially like the last ones! I think you'll be able to get a pair of gold sandals quite cheaply at the moment, what with it being so hideously cold!
Hello to everyone else. Had a really tough few days at work - Monday we found out two redundancies were to be made in another department to mine, and today we found out who would be leaving. It's all really sad because I work with some fantastic people who don't deserve it. These credit crunch times are hard, huh?
At least I have my outfits to cheer me up! Just posted today's on my blog, and here it is:
Black and yellow printed dress, £5 Primark
Yellow tights
Black cardi
Black leather shoe boots, £22 Nine West via eBay
Gold hoop necklace
Black cocktail ring
Hope you're all okay.0 -
