Hello
Had a lovely day today at a training course where we got shown around Concorde afterwards - Michael Jackson always had seat 2D apparently, and paid for 2C so he had his own bit, never ate or drank and put a blanket over his head for the entire time he was on the flight. Felt sorry for him.
Outfit:
Dark grey skirt with ribbon details (£20 Monsoon sale)
Tight black jumper (£6 Primark)
Grey, browny jacket with huge collar (£15 Primark)
Mulberry Mary Janes (£25 Clarks sale)
Black tights, purple bag (both on arm and under eyes - bit run down at mo)
Hope everyone had a great day0 -
confuzzled- welcome
fairly_good- Haha, yeah I have massive under eye bags right now too0 -
Hi Ladies
Outfit today,
Blue long bootcut jeans (DP's)
Grey square necked gypsy style top with white embroidery on (next)
Black cowboy boots (Brantano)
black cardi (for on the back of my chair in work for when it gets chilly)
Found the boots I was after. Lovely black cowboy style ones but with a slightly higher heel that cowboy ones normally have (if that makes sense!)
Sat here in jamas and fleecy dressing gown now as it's so cold!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
Hey fashion peeps,
I am really in need of some help with a Coast dress i recently bought from ebay for a wedding i'm going to in Mexico next month. Its a dark green colour and i really don't know what colour shoes to wear with it? The dress is this one on the coast website but just in a really nice dark green colour - http://www.coast-stores.com/LEONORA-BUBBLE-DRESS/Weddings---view-all/coast/fcp-product/2224669070 not sure if i can post the link to ebay or not?
Can anybody help me decide? I'm thinking black but i don't really want black shoes for a wedding on the beach.
Thanks for all your help (if any lol)

I have absolutely no idea about fashion and tend to stick to the same things(boring stuff!) and I'm hoping that you guys can help point me in the right direction:o I need to start by clearing my wardrobe of the tatt, and I bet theres a fair bit of it:rolleyes: And my underwear.......well shall we just say I better not get knocked over anytime soon:p:o:rotfl:It must be bad coz even my DH has commented on it:eek::o
So my aim is to create a capsule wardrobe:eek: With your help of course:D And try and look stylish even when I'm slobbing at home...maybe;):)
Heres my 1st 'What I'm wearing' post..I can tell you now, it will very rarely have a designer name and will mostly be approx 1yr+ old:o:o
Black heels - Deichmanns £10
Black trousers - M&S £10
White blouse top - Next £15
Chunky Black Belt - came with a red dress from MarkOne
White Gold hopp earrings - xmas pressie from DH
Red/Black checked 3/4 sleeved jacket - Primark £15 a year ago
I've gone for the 'pale & interesting' look with make-up(got up late:o)
God I hope I'm not a lost cause!!!
Oh and I'm 25, dunno why I wanted to put that, just thought it was relevant for some reason
Hello to you! I must say, you don't sound like a lost cause in the slightest! Sharron is the queen of capsule - have a search of this board for her thread, it has capsule wardrobe in the title I'm sure! There are lots of tips and ideas there that could help.
I'm not a capsule wardrobe fan myself - I like to have loads of choice and I'm pretty fickle so get bored easily with my clothes. I'd say a good place to start if you're feeling a bit 'blah' about your outfits is somewhere like Accessorize. Look through the jewellery and pick out some colours you like - not black, silver or gold, but something you can mix with more simple outfits. Multi-coloured beads are great - they're not too 'out there' but give your clothes a bit more interest.
Also, creating a 'look book' is a fab way to get ideas - go through magazines and snip out the items/looks/fabrics/colours you really love and create a look with them. Then you can keep an eye out for similar stuff when you're shopping and build it up slowly.
I hope that helps - it's a place to start anyway! Don't be a lurker, come and share your outfits and tell us what you think of ours. I always think writing what you're wearing here (or taking a picture for a blog, as I do!) really makes you think about your clothes and what makes them interesting. It's a great creative source!0 -

On abeach...do you need shoes? If so, I'd kee them easy. some blingy flip flops..or brone and dark green could be stunning, something else for later if there is a party/dancing/meal off the beach. Depending on the green, a shade of yellow could be lovey and zingy.0 -
So late in the day... I've been chinwagging at my friend's house all evening! Her hubby bought her a personal shopping day for her birthday and she went at the weekend. She has sooooo many delicious goodies, my eyes were like saucers! And it's all high street, just really well chosen and perfectly matched. I'm coveting her Zara peep toe shoe boots so might have to pick up a pair when I get paid!
Today I wore:
Zara floral tea dress
Black blazer
Green tights
Black skinny waist belt
Black suede pixie boots
Owl ring
Bangle stack
Happy Tuesday!0 -
Hiya,
Welcome to newbies
Hayles - you can link to eBay I think provided the listing is still there? Not 100% sure...struggling to think what would go with a dark green dress without seeing it!
Todays outfit was:
Baggy white top
Grey Boyfriend cardi
Black skinny jeans
Biker boots
Simple, boring & easy! Really couldn't be bothered today
Picked up an ex Topshop dress today though for a bargain £4, it's a black one with mexican style embroidery, only fault is a dodgy zip which mum will fixReally chuffed, loving the dress & cardi look at the mo
