GrammarGirl - QDs is a cheap varied shop similar to Wilkinsons, I go in there to buy dog treats and bits n pieces I don't think they are everywhere and you do have to be in the mood to hunt;) heres a link http://www.qdstores.co.uk/ but I just realised they are only in the east:confused:

Bronnie, both bags from Next are really nice, I think you could use them both for day time or other do's as well so you get your moneys worth:D

Not dressed yet, dd still off sick:( I'm laying in bed with my dog and cat both snoring beside me:)
Thank you for this site Martin

Bronnie, I personally think the pewter one from Next is much nicer than the gold one. I suppose it's a case of just putting them next to the dress though, a picture's not quite the same is it?

I am a little bit in love with that sequin bag piratefairy just posted :o

Practical clothes day today as I'm site managing at work:

Black Vans with pink hippos on
    Navy jeans
    Navy wraparound jumper
    White ribbed vest
    Work gilet (forest green)
Mint green enormously long knitted scarf
Mint green and cream stripy gloves

    I love winter accessories :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
another practical day. Bah humbug. Still, had a couple of compliments this morning...which is interesting and I'm going to ponder over that.

Jeans (still too baggy, thank goodness, but found a belt :)) green, snug fitting jumper.(feeling very surprised that it was said as I walked this morning, ''ooh, you look nice'' because jumper feels decidedly....unflattering) Green murano stud earings, and....mucker boots. :)

    Morning all!

    Wearing
Black "rock and roll" Jumper dress...v. short, eek!: New Look
    Black diamond pattern tights: ??
Studded black flat boots: La Redoute
Black boxer shorts under dress to protect modesty if I go out: Stolen from ex.

It's all misty and cold here
so it might be a day in doing nothing. Of course I could do some sorting out but I feel distinctly de-motivated :o

    Hey everyone,

I am loving Daisy bellas and pretty peniless blogs, does anyone else have any more they could pm me? It is giving me some inspiration to set up my own but I am not very fashionable!! There is a dress that I really like from Primark that was in the sale and I so regret not buying it as I have this vision in my head for an outfit I could wear with it! :(

I really need to go shopping!! I have an addiction I think.

    Afternoon all!

What a gorgeous day it is. Hope you're feeling better soon, Glowgirl.

Had a great Aquasize class this morning - the instructor used me as a shining example of putting effort into my exercises so I'm feeling smug.

Had a quick mooch round the new TJ Hughes and managed to get my mum her favourite YSL tan booster as an extra B'day pressie - there's some great high-end make-up in there but can't say I was very impressed with much else. The charity shops were uninspiring but I picked up a good Xmas present for an older friend which saved me a few pennies.

    Today's outfit:
Celia Birtwell shirt dress (£3.80 Charity shop)
Vintage brown leather jacket (£7 from a charity shop over 15 years ago)
Mid-length black lace trimmed leggings (10p car boot sale)
Lots of wooden and brass bangles - collected over the years from India/car boots
Ex-Accessorize chunky wood rings (Car boot sale 20p each)
Huge vintage brass earrings (50p from last weeks' car boot sale)
Schuh tan leather ankle boots with integral platforms and 6in heels (Local market stall £5)
Vintage tan leather holdall with silk inserts printed with paisleys (25p car boot sale)

Have a fab tuesday afternoon, gang!

Pirate, you really do have the most beautiful shoes :o

Hm, I ventured out and ended up buying this months Vogue as I was intrigued by their "more dash than cash" special. It makes me laugh, what's cheap to them is still "in my dreams" :o right now even topshop is way out of my league!

I seem to have a cleaning kick on, have so far done my makeup/toiletries, still not quite brave enough to tackle the clothes mountain :p
