  • Hi everyone,

hope you don't mind me joining the thread, i've been lurking about in the background but just thought i'd say that you've all served as a bit of an inspriration to me clothes wise recently, what with all your various blogs and things, and especially Goanmad with your car boot/charity shop finds (I actually ventured into one today and found a few nice bits).

But anyway, as my first official 'what i'm wearing' post, here goes...
    White plimsoles - £2 primark
Long Leggings - £8 tall range New Look
    Long stripey t-shirt - £8 New Look
denim jacket - around £12 Primark
    Royal blue pashmina - present
Mary Poppins stylee carpet bag (for all my uni junk!) - £8 Ebay
Bit random I know - going for the "interesting" history student look! :D

O one last thing - Piratefairy how do I get on your blog? I can't find it the usual way (clicking on user name)

I have absolutely no idea about fashion and tend to stick to the same things(boring stuff!) and I'm hoping that you guys can help point me in the right direction:o I need to start by clearing my wardrobe of the tatt, and I bet theres a fair bit of it:rolleyes: And my underwear.......well shall we just say I better not get knocked over anytime soon:p:o:rotfl:It must be bad coz even my DH has commented on it:eek::o
So my aim is to create a capsule wardrobe:eek: With your help of course:D And try and look stylish even when I'm slobbing at home...maybe;):)

I adore carpet bags, I've always wanted one, someone I adord when I was little had one and I just worshipped her, so thought it was the last word in bags.

    Oh, I want one!
  • Ebay had quite a few when I was looking for mine..some were going for ridiculous prices mind you
  • Afternoon all!

Apologies for my shoddy late reply, today has been insanely busy with lots of meetings and suchlike, so today's 'I mean business' outfit is:

    - Black V neck three quarter sleeve jumper over white shirt insert with black stripes (Next)
    - Black tie (my old school tie) stuffed down between jumper and shirt insert
    - Black straight leg pinstripe trousers (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Black lace up men's style brogues (New Look)

Hope everyone's having a good Tuesday!

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")
