Right, I'm up and I have coffee. I'm ready to tackle lots of adminy type jobs. I ordered my memory stick from play.com yesterday and 9p has tracked on Quidco :rotfl: I've just noticed that my £60 from EDF has moved to validated which is nice :D

Slightly disappointed none of my freebies have arrived yet :( ...the Toblerone Tobelle, skincare stuff, Baileys or the mini paingone thing I ordered. Hopefully some will arrive this week.

    Better get on

    Hi Gwen

Good luck with the admin - I hate doing that sort of stuff and tend to leave it for ages :o

I haven't had any freebies either although Lula mentioned getting her Baileys - so fingers crossed they are on their way :D

Hello! Almost midweek - woo! Not liking work very much this week, my boss is being a bit of a !!!!.

I've been doing a bit more work on my list as I didn't get it finished at the weekend. Still not finished, but I feel like I'm getting there. I've been deleting texts from my old mobile, getting it ready to send off. My bank card for my new Nationwide account has arrived :) No more duplicate payments have been taken from my account and I had my third NSD of November today! :D I'm keeping up my spending diary and I think by Christmas it will be very revealing.

However, my computer is being a bit weird and I'm slightly worried I might have to get a new one. Argghhh! Could really do without that.

Off to try and read some diaries, but my laptop is making me want to throw it at my bosses head!

    Gwenx

    PS. Still no freebies :(

Oh dear. Carp, isn't it? I was seriously close to telling him to bog off today! I read the article on BBC news about 'Good boss, bad boss...poor management forces workers out' and was tempted to print it out and leave it somewhere subtle...like his desk...

Better day at work today. Quite uneventful really, which is fine by me.

Got home to a bill from Scottish Power. Argh! Wait for it....£139.02!!!:eek: I knew it'd be high. I was using the fan heater a lot when my boiler broke earlier this year and then it broke again last month and the fan heater came out again... I was hoping it wouldn't be quite that high though :( Oh well. I can cover it and I'll have to try and reduce my usage. The £60 from Quidco helps to soften the blow a little.

Other than that I got a phone call from a nice man at Marks and Spencers about the letter I wrote them. He has investigated and the problem was apparently caused by human error and he has taken it up with the couriers. He has also given me a £15 e-credit for my next internet shop with M&S :D

Checked my bank account and it's definitely not good, but it could be worse. I still have food in, shouldn't have to buy too much before payday. I will need more petrol though and a few bits and pieces...Christmas cards, a photo album, possibly a new laptop charger...

As a little reminder to me though, I just want to document my vouchers before I forget what I have:

    £10 Boots giftcard
    £10 M&S giftcard
    £10 Tesco e-coupon
    £1 M&S &more voucher
    £15 M&S e-credit
    £15 Amazon voucher (to come)

I think that's it, plus Tesco clubcard vouchers. These may all come in very handy in January....

What was to be my fourth NSD of November was ruined when I threw my dinner all over the kitchen floor this evening, resulting in an emergency visit to the chippy. I am sooo clumsy :o

I'm getting a bit nervous about my current account move. I'm just hoping it all goes smoothly and Nationwide don't mess it up! Still at least my energy provider move is almost done. Once all the moving is over, I can do more moving by moving my broadband provider, saving money and getting some cashback in the process :D

I've just totted up my Chrimbo crackers total so far and it now stands at £275.47. Ok, I'm really not going to get to the £1010 barring a miracle, but I'm still pleased at my progress.

    Gwenx

PS. Still no freebies :( or even items I've paid for! No memory stick, no photo prints...

    Great voucher haul! :j

And good of M&S to call you - makes sense! I'm sure half these things are down to human error!!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Thanks girls! How was Iceland, makeup? I'm quite pleased with my little haul of vouchers, but as a couple of them are 'e-vouchers' I'm a bit worried I might forget about them  I've been doing all the surveys that have come my way, but as usual I get screened out of the Toluna ones

I miscalculated my Chrimbo crackers total...I think I can include &more vouchers, so it's now £276.47.

The electricity bill is very scary, but I've been trying to not get too stressed about it. Only £33 of it was recent charges, so the rest is money I owed them probably from when my heating was broken. The heating is now fixed. I do need to look to reduce usage, but it shouldn't be so bad again, I hope :o
