Aberdeenshire postal system - I could tell you a story about that.

When I used to live with my parents, I was subscribed to PC Magazine, and had it delivered by post. Several times when I came home, my magazine was through the door on the floor - door took a little longer to open, but no problem.

One day, however, the postie had managed to get the magazine stuck at an angle so it formed a brace between the floor and the door. Since I couldn't open the door, I roundhouse kicked it with just enough force to get it open.

My mum went to the local sorting office and mentioned it to them, and they put a note above the pigeon hole for our mail about taking items back if they're too big. Took a few attempts before it was actually followed.
