That's what i am going to do as they are charging silly money for appliances £132 for a tap :eek:Edinburghlass wrote: »Curved units will be very much more expensive and beware of the fact that you won't get as much in them.
I want the high gloss ones from Howden's, but as you say they curved ones are more expensive, can anyone suggest a nice looking alternative with Howdens?
Different account holders seem to get different discount percentages at Howdens but wait for Doozergirl as she is the Howdens expert
I gotta trade account for what its worth,, but not a credit account
Oh and I went with Howdens in the end and sourced all appliances separately along with the worktops, sink and taps.
Can't seem to get quotes right sorry!, so its all in Red!

Hi HM. I had a Howden's kitchen fitted and floors and walls tiled for my small kitchen for that amount. I asked Howdens to recommend fitters then asked them to quote and selected the best from these rather than asking them to give me a price directly. This could be a cheaper way of doing it.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Surely the fitters would want their cut as well? *confused*
But HM atleast you have work-surfaces & accessories added in, mine don't include that!!!, what accessories/worktop did you get?No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

Very few accessories to be honest - just a special draw under the oven for pots&pans, plus a 30cm cupboard that kinda "comes out".
Oh, and sink, taps etc and cooker from Howdens was in price (though oven just £300).
Worksurface nothing special - Cairngorn laminate (fancy name for chipboard) worktop0 -
