The thing is, I'm not taking it personally (although it could fit and it wouldn't be the first time) - 1) Don't think he means it - 2) He doesn't actually know me - and 3) Deep down, I know that only the blonde bit is true (and I have to pay for that).0

I, on the other hand, would kill myself if I got anything like HUGE (mainly because it would mean that I then had no life). That doesn't mean that either everyone can pull themselves together like you did or want to top themselves like I would.
You have got the right idea about focussing on the best bits - some people think that Gok, Trinny, Susannah et al are Gods beamed down from Heaven - some people quite literally don't give a monkeys. Who is to say that they - or you - or I am/are right and it is up to anyone to offer (sometimes very harsh and critical) advice about what people are wearing when all that seems to matter is how they are regarded? Sure, they may feel like dog-do but that doesn't seem to be what Dippychick - and even you to an extent -is/are saying; the focus is on them being offensive to the eye.
Look away then, that's all.
I read recently a quote but can't remember it word for word - but it was something along the lines of the people that you may see as you walk along may have some special skill or talent that you don't and that they have a life as complicated and interesting as you or I... The clothes are the wrapping - even the most colourful, smartest and fashionable can make their wearer look a bit of a t*t.
Erm don't slag me off then make comments like that, seemingly in defence of Dizziblonde???
What do you suggest then, sweets? She goes and kills herself?
That is disgraceful and has been sent to the abuse team, you fattist Witch:cool:0 -

Don't be soft.
Note the first word of the sentence is 'I' - and I stress that that is only my own weird and wonderful (warped) take on it (as an ex-anorexic). I do not advocate in any way shape or form killing oneself over weight issues.
..I'll wait for it to be removed then shall I?0 -

How ridiculous.
It's a good job Dizziblonde has left the forum because that is the most condescending thing I have seen on a forum in a long while.:cool:0 -
