Go for it - you know you want to!
Just to check - there are no differences and no penalties for accepting the longer term option? Sounds strange and oddly generous!:rolleyes:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning peeps
I have 101 things to do today which aren't related to my DMP so I can feeling myself getting a tad stressed at the thought of getting everything done:eek:. DMP will have to wait until tomorrow unless something urgent needs done:o.
Off to get a shower but will pop later with any updates.0 -

Thanks Gar.
Had mum at the doctors as she has a terrible rash and fainted yesterday:eek:. Nothing major wrong thank goodness.
Got a phone call from my Skycard saying my offer has been declined I cut them short as I was waiting for mum at the docs and couldn't talk. Got home to find a letter telling me to contact CCCS:mad:. Sending the template you gave me for Halifax to them as well. I don't know what they want I don't have a frea kin income so their lucky I can offer them what I did:mad:.
Can you tell I'm feeling a bit cross today:o.
Gar, did you send follow up letters saying I sent you SOA affairs etc etc when you didn't hear anything back?
Back soon
Oh and spends are !!!!!! today as well as I needed petrol:mad:0 -
Hope your Mum's feeling better soon BJ, sounds like you've both had a somewhat rubbish day!
A hybrid of whatever letter you sent them initially to say that you had no money and some of Gar's wonderfully Bolshie 'x = x you morons' letters should hopefully yield results with your creditors if you stick at them.
Just be sure to keep copies, record dates of posting and keep certificates of posting/Recorded Delivery slips etc.
Hope the day perks up soon0 -

Hi Edin
Yeah Mum ok - thanks.
Think I'm going cry now though. Printer not working and just tried to cancel printing and deleted the printer by mistake and I can't find the disc to install it again.
Is there anyway I can get it back without the disc - system restore maybe.
God think I'll go to a dark room and lay down for the rest of the day:rolleyes:0 -
Thanks Gar.

Glad to hear its nothing serious with your Mum - puts debt busting into perspective.
In terms of Skycard it would be interesting to work out using the formula what you would be required to offer them should it ever go to court, I suspect much less than you are offering. I would point that out in the letter - I've used the following paragraph in mine added to the "please reconsider I don't need to use CCCS" letter.............
[FONT="]"Furthermore, both CCCS and National Debtline have provided assistance in calculating affordable reduced payments in line with the formula as used by the county court. In line with this calculation the actual amount which should be offered to AA Visa is £6.53 each week. In an effort to repay the debt as soon as possible we have endeavoured to pay £10 each week."[/FONT]
Not sure whether it has been successful as such, as nobody has wrote me back (just like Gary Barlow..............:D).
I have not chased up those who haven't replied, as I have been making my payments by SO and I am of the ignorant opinion "no news is good news" with these at the moment - purely because I'm struggling to keep on top of the ones giving me jip!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think I read if they don't respond in 21 days they "accept" the plan - will have a read elsewhere and try to confirm this for you (and me):cool:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

If today is a !!!!!! spends day it might be the best day to send your recorded delivery letters and just "bite" the cost. If you try to have a NSD and need to send these letters, it could ruin your NSD momentumLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi BJ
Sorry to hear that today is a bit carp - hope your mum feels better soon.
Some of these companies are just stupid, keep plugging away at them, I'm sure it will gradually get better. Remember it's early days and even with CCCS and payplan people have said it doesn't settle down for a while.Ebay challenge 2010 - £525
