Hmmmmmmmm lets see , youre simply not up to currently required credit protocol for an increase :rolleyes::rolleyes: Just because you paty ontime every time certainly doesnt mean your should be allowed an increase :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. IMHO Aqua/Halifax card services are well rid of winging customers like you, who wants to listen to call after call of customers attempting to increase their limits constantly and when declined complaining on forums about it:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Get over it youve been declined for a reason :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Halifax are a terrible company and bank. Their staff are rude both on the phone and in branch. I work with customers on a daily basis, and it doesn't matter whether a customer has an attitude towards you, you're still polite and welcoming, as it's your job. Evidently Halifax staff do not understand this and are not trained to the high standard of other banks such as HSBC.

Halifax fail at both being a bank (shown by being brought out by Lloyds) and fail at customer service (shown by the sheer number of complaints about them).

Yes they do mate - we give you extra hassle, debt, taxes, rudeness, overcharging, irresponsible lending, breaches of the DPA, CCA and every other act out there - and that's to start!

    Hows this for proof.....

They give me £15 a month for opening 3 Reward accounts with them :)

    1. FPing £1000 into Reward1 for the 2nd of the month.
    2. 2nd of the month, Reward 1, Reward 2 and Reward 3 all credit me with £5 each.
    3. Transfer £1005 from 1 to 2
    4. Transfer £1010 from 2 to 3
    5. Transfer £1015 back out again

    £15 on £1000 for 1 day = 547.5% AER :)

If you really want to stick two fingers up to them, take their money and buy yourself a couple of pints each month

EDIT: If you don't have £1000 available, do the same thing with £100 but bounce it from Reward 3 back into Reward 1 and cycle it through 10 times so each account has had a total of £1000 of "deposits" ;)

They know how to look after customers with the correct financial status ;);););););););););););););)

My financial status is fine thank you very much. I pay my bills on time and have no debt.
  • It's interesting to note that any thread which vaguely mentions the Halifax usually turns up the two oppisite views from HBOS4ME and Never In Doubt, most of which I generally put down to being their opinion and move on, but in this case it strikes me that HBOS4ME has stepped over the line this time. If you truly work for HBOS then you do your employers no service at all with your condecending comments in this thread and suggestions that they only look after customers in a secure financial situation. I doubt that HBOS would be happy with your comments if they knew who you were.

Never in Doubt obviously has issues with the Halifax, but that's OK he is entitled to his opinion and I am happy to hear it as long as it is accurate and civil (which as far as I am aware it has been) - but I do sometimes wonder who is winding who up on these threads, am I alone with this?

For information, I have banked with Halifax for approaching 15 years now and have my default credit card with them along with other financial packages (home insurance etc) and on EVERY occasion I have had nothing but polite and professional service from all employees I have had dealings with - but then this is only my experience, I accept others may have had a different experience.

Can we not try to help each other without becoming so entrenched in our views and without resorting to the cheap insults ("Whinging customers" for instance) that HBOS4ME has resorted to in this thread?

Excuse me, do not single me out! I never post about HBOS - please send proof links? I deal with unenforceability actually! Who the bloody hell rattled your cage anyway?

If you'd read my posts then you'd see why I hate HBOS and also, google hbos complaints and when you see there are over a million pages then I think you'll kinda see my point is valid.

I only came here to shut-up that fool HBOS4ME who is, in case you miss the point, a troll called EASTERNTHUNDERUK whom we had banned last month. Going on your comment about polite and brilliant service and you're from Leeds makes me assume you're now one-in-the same and are indeed HBOS4ME as well.

    Saddo.

I think you're trying to wind me up, i'm clear on that!

I take it you work for them

Halifax are the sloppiest bank I have banked with. They ignore the guidelines set down by the OFT, and almost daily are being complained to with the help of TS.

Perhaps if Halifax had not been so sloppy on legislation they may not be in as much crap as they are.

Not a bank I would want to work for.
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

It's interesting to note that any thread which vaguely mentions the Halifax usually turns up the two oppisite views from HBOS4ME and Never In Doubt, most of which I generally put down to being their opinion and move on,

Really, please send me links of where I slag off HBOS? You can't cos I don't! Also, you and HBOS4ME are both new and would have no idea about my posting history so get a grip!
but in this case it strikes me that HBOS4ME has stepped over the line this time.

As in each of his posts, yea you're right! He will not be here long anyway.
If you truly work for HBOS then you do your employers no service at all with your condecending comments in this thread and suggestions that they only look after customers in a secure financial situation. I doubt that HBOS would be happy with your comments if they knew who you were.

As previously told to you - he is called EASTERNTHUNDERUK and has nothing to do with HBOS - he is here to take the p!ss. A troll.
Never in Doubt obviously has issues with the Halifax,

Do I? Please tell me what piece of you came up with that idea cos it wasn't your head! I hate all banks - all of them. If you knew anything about me or read any of my posts you'll see that I actuall fight against the CRA's - NOT the banks themselves and have the same contempt for them all. You will not find posts where I single handedly slag off the Halifax - I don't cos I don't have time!
but that's OK he is entitled to his opinion and I am happy to hear it as long as it is accurate and civil (which as far as I am aware it has been)

Who are you, my lawyer? I couldn't care less what you think!
    - but I do sometimes wonder who is winding who up on these threads, am I alone with this?

Then be quiet so you do not wind us up! Easy answer to your silly point!

Default Credit Card - what the hell is one of those?

This gave you away - utter utter nonsense and the fact you stated this, being in Leeds and the fact its all lies proves you're not real.
Can we not try to help each other without becoming so entrenched in our views and without resorting to the cheap insults ("Whinging customers" for instance) that HBOS4ME has resorted to in this thread?

Troll. Funny, someone been here for 1 month with 21 posts trying to tell various others such as TheEffect/Brian etc etc with a far superior thank count on how to behave in the forum. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
