thanks Amymo,
date twin! he got back at 3pm today and my goodness i was so pleased to see him! we have our ups and downs but i said to him, having this break apart has made me understand how much i love and appreciate him! (bucket pls!)
my son and i had a nice morning together as he was feeling a lot better. We walked around a few car boots and the local market, went to my aunts house lovely! Then i got back and made a lovely sunday roast for him.
However he was that hungover he only managed a small bit! he usually eats me out of house and home!
I know what you mean re money. My hen do so far will is costing £14 pp for the hotel room. £10 for the minibus (in total) then the outfits will cost between £13-£££ (sailors!) as we're only going overnight we'll only need lunch and dinner then breakfast next day. Im trying to do it as cheap as possible so all my close friends can come. Theres 17 of us paid and confirmed, whereas h2b do cost £50 hotel pp, £40 train ticket, £30 outfit, £35 wakeboarding! so £155 before they'd even got there!! no onder only 6 went in the end!
Rose1960,
my goodness me! 8 days! Just mentioned to h2b about it and he said 'id die! id never last that long!'
hope it goes ok for you0 -

I have always said 'i love being on my own, well it turns out i dont.
I like time to myself but i like having him there at night to go to bed with and make me feel safe!
I have been so so so so so bored. Our son has been off school with a belly bug since weds and we've just been at home together doing nothing really just slobbing about. (havent been too far from his side incase he throws up bless)
sorry for the post there's no point to it! just see if anyone else feels the same!
You're not alone!!! I'm in the same boat!
My H2B left on Friday and back Tuesday (as long as the ash cloud doesn't shift south too quickly!) I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof- I hate him being away. I feel really teary at times- I feel such a wimp!
Part of me regrets deciding against having my hen do abroad, part of me is glad that I won't be away- would have gone this coming Friday until the Tuesday. Anyway, work will keep me busy tomorrow, I've got masses of stuff to do tomorrow night, work again Tuesday and then he'll be home!0 -
Hi ladies. Not been on for ages as i've been so busy, but not with wedding stuff! Only wedding type stuff I've done recently was my dress fitting yesterday, which I was really pleased about - I still love the dress!

I am really surprised we have a venue! It turns out that the original idiot had hardly any information in our file about our day. No time for the ceremony, he had OHs and my future surname spelt wrongly etc etc. We have filled out a proper form now and nearly everything is organised. Our contact there is emailing me a copy of everything with info on when we need to do what. This afternoon we didn't know what evening food we could have, we have now given our menu choices for the whole day. All we have left to do with them is email our table plan and confirm final numbers. They are doing the menus and they will be ready a week early for us to decorate and once they have our table plan will set EVERYTHING up for us. She got married there herself recently which is a good sign. We asked if it would be her co-ordinating our day as there is someone else starting who apparently used to work there and will have been re-trained in a couple of weeks. Seeing as we have dealt with her today and at a previous event we asked if she would be there even just until the meal has started to reassure us and she has agreed. Things are looking up and I have just crossed loads of things off my listMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

What a difference a day makes! We have an email confirming everything from yesterday's meeting, dates for things to be done by, an early copy of what the menu will look like and an invoice. We definately had an idiot before.
Think I am having a hair trial next week, still waiting for a text back from my niece-to-be who is doing it for me.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
