Half the time I don't talk to my friends as all I can think about is wedding stuff. I pity them if they start to ask, I may not stop once I start!
I can't believe I get married 6 weeks tomorrow, that is nothing! We have our meeting with the florist tomorrow morning and then both have a personal shopper appointment in the afternoon to get clothes for our honeymoon. Will have to sit with OH tonight and make sure we know exactly what we are ordering flower wise tomorrow.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I've got my hair trial a week today and I only have vague ideas of how I want. Can anyone recommend any websites or magazines that have clear pictures of up-dos?MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have mine TOMORROW  and haven't even decided up or down, so it's looking like half up half down! :rotfl: I spent about 2 hours Googling rather than buying a mag, but going to look back through all old wedding brochures and mags tonight and hope 'the one' style jumps out at me ! xWins 2012: Mascara, Yorkshire break, Year's supply of Wine!!

I have seen things on Google that have given me the ideas but she asked if I could bring pictures along of things I like and I haven't bought any mags so can't take those. I might pop into town and see what I can find in the normal hair mags.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Work and uni work are crazy at the moment but we're slowly slowly making our way down the to do list, I don't know if I'll ever feel excited, all I feel is nervous!
Someone at work told OH to enjoy the day as we'll be paying it off for a long time, she was shocked when he said we've saved and are on target to not owe anything at all, it was a nice feeling when he told me, I'm really proud we've done it this way!
At a friends wedding this weekend, a bit of a dry run for us in terms of how their timings work etc but also a nice day out which I need as work is driving me mad and one of my colleagues caught OH and I rowing in Tesco tonight, was mortified and she probably also heard me saying '£2.60 for a tub of butter, put that back!' followed by 'what's your problem tonight' from him! The shame!0 -

We've collected our wedding rings today
This coming weeks is going to be mighty busy... Monday, hen dress shopping- Tuesday, make-up trial - Wednesday, meeting with the hotel (who very 'kindly' sent us a bill through to settle before the wedding, which looking at it will mean we've paid nearly all of it before the day. I was under the impression we paid half 6 weeks before and then the balance 4 to 6 weeks after.) Thursday, I'll have to spend the day writing the rest of my reports and Friday is hair trial AND dress fitting. At some point as well, I'll have 9 litres of sloe gin to strain and maybe decant into the little bottles we've got. Have rock order to chase up as was hoping it would be ready to collect this half term.
Just going to order some rose petals- not quite sure how many I really need, but the company reckons 8 litres will be suitable for the 50 cones I enquired about. Think I may just order 6 and see how far that goes!0 -
