Haven't been on here for a long while, as there hadn't been much to report.
I'm on the same day as Sammy, 23 july, I can't believe how quickley its coming around.
I'm so excited, busy week this week! I'm going shopping in Birmingham tomorrow, to find a wedding dress. We are having a girly day in town. I'm going with my really good friend (who is also my boss, and she has also arranged my hen weekend too)
We're not having bridesmaids or best man, so I suppose she is like a maid of honor.
Then on friday, we are off on a hen weekend! Myself and 11 friends are off to a lodge near alton towers. Friday night is pizza night and singstar, saturday we are going to Emma Bridgewater pottery to paint a pot, then coming back for a vintage 50's housewife afternoon tea and pimms, then in the evening we have a friends coming to cook us all a very delicious meal follwed by more alcohol and sinstar and then onthe sunday for those who want to, were are planning to go to alton towers.
I'm so excited!
But I will let you all know how it goes next week!

how funny that we are getting married in the same month but its 2 months today til yours and on thursday it will be ONE month til mine!

I can't believe I will finally get to see MY wedding dress tomorrow. Off to try and arrange a meeting with the vicar now, once we have seen him again a lot of things can be done!

Might do some more lists today on what else needs doing, lol!! Did tick 4 things off my 'to do list' yesterday but only 1 of them for the wedding, lol!!

one of the guests hand delievered their rsvp this morn- which i was really happy about

the bridesmaid whose dress didnt fit- is trying the new size on tonight and hoping we can get it alterated on saturday- need to ring the women later

brought a frame yesterday for the letter from man u that i have got for oh

dress fitting on monday

went to cadbury factory shop on monday and brought some more things for the sweetie buffet- so i think that done now- maybe 1 more kind of sweetie

still need to sort out music for the day , work out who i want to ask to do the readings



i am sooooo excited!

Hi Curious, I know it seems really odd. i almost feel like I should be on the August 2011 board!

I guess I'll be the last of all of us to get married, as it's the very last day of the month and a Sunday to boot. It does mean I get the benefit of all your advice first though.

Got given a piece of advice on Saturday on my hen night - 'no-one like a p^&**$d bride'. Made me laugh as we were all so squiffy at the time! :beer:

Getting so excited now - can't imagine how you early July-ers are feeling! :T
