Forgot my original reason for coming on. We have managed to get our wedding costs under £10k, I know it is a lot more than some of you but seeing as my wedding dress is over 10% of the budget I don't think we have done too badly. I have still over-estimated on some of the budget too until we get our final invoices through. OH and I were originally expecting to have to contribute £3-3.5k each, we have currently put £1855 into our wedding fund and it looks like we may have enough in there without us needing to add anymore. I feel a little guilty as we always wanted to contribute the biggest amount, but in the end we are nowhere near what my dad has given us. I guess we should be happy about it and there are some costs we have paid out of our own pockets so it takes our total up a bit. My sister has also bought some of hers and my nieces stuff as they will still be wearing things after so although I have included these in the budget we haven't paid for them. It will be interesting to see what the end figure will be.

Well, next week is the last week I can really plough in to wedding stuff- going to be so busy! I've TOLD H2B we're sorting the rings on Saturday (have bought them but need adjusting), Monday he's taking me to find a dress for my Hen Day, Tuesday I've got the make-up trial, Wednesday is hotel meeting day, Thursday I'll be finishing writing reports, Friday is hair trial in the morning and dress fitting in the afternoon!

H2B came back from Stag do yesterday, was a bit worried he'll be enjoying more strippers in Magaluf after the ash cloud scenario! Thankfully, he still has his eyebrows...

Photographer has been. I opened the door...and immediately relaxed. We have used him at work on numerous occasions, we recognised him and him us! He is very relaxed and now we just need to think if there are any specific photos we want. One more thing to tick off the list.

    51 days to go!

Need to vent a little, had a stressful conversation with my dad who is being really difficult at the moment about my step dad. Dads walking me down the aisle but my step dad is leaving the house with me in the car, dropping him off near the church and then collecting my dad for the grand entrance - but this is not good enough for him. I'm trying to be as sensitive and calm as possible but my step dad has played a big part in my life and my dad gets very jealous about this and didn't think it was appropriate for him to come at all! I have even got a little half brother who is my page boy. Ive explained to him this is mine and OH's day and to stop thinking about himself, we're paying for the whole day on our own so don't see why he thinks he has a right to dictate our day! Argghhh! So annoying, feel like saying if its too much not to bother and I'll send him some cake!!

That aside I'm getting together some family this weekend for a reunion since a divorce, vicar on Tuesday for 1 of 2 marriage prep meetings and photographer on Wednesday night. Can't believe how fast time is going, things will def. get busier in June!

    IT FITS, IT FITS!!!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

We could get the corset fastened up all the way to the top. There is about 0.5cm of flesh showing at either side of the modesty panel at the moment.

I have lost nearly 2 stone so far tho, and am planning on losing another 7lbs before the wedding (1lb per week, its easily doable) and then it should be just perfect.

Can't even tell you how happy I am. I did take a big risk. Bought the dress from China, in a different colour, and asked for alterations to the design. I was a size 16 at the time, and I ordered it as a stock size 12 and just hoped for the best.

And do you know what?? Its perfect. LOVE it soooooo much. It was just exactly what I had imagined and hoped for.

I had such a wobble last time I tried it on, cos I felt really fat in it and like I was never gonna be able to do it up. I cried last time with diasppointment and tried searching for another dress. But my mum calmed me down and gave some good words of advice and reassurance, and made me not look at it or try it on for 6 weeks.

    And this time I cried with happiness :T :j  :T :j  :T :j

It is ***such*** a relief Sammy! Was starting to get really worried that I had bitten off too much and that it wasn't gonna work out this time...

Will just have to keep on the good work with the healthy eating and zumba!! Mind you, I love zumba so much that going is not an issue at all!
