bm dresses finally arrived today! just glad to finally have them in my house! took 11 weeks rather than the 5, but i am just glad to have them now!

some nice news for my cbm- she is getting married in cyprus in august and i am the bridesmaid . so we are back from our honeymoon then 2 weeks later we are going to cyprus for a week lol.

also my shoes arrived today ordered 2 pairs from ebay. and problem- i love them both!!!

woo.just got a call from h samuels- wedding rings are in and are now engraved picking them up in the morning
next week my mission is to look at invite designs and decide what i want
also my venue has a wedding fayre on next sunday (31st) woo. cant wait!

Good news all round :T Glad your bridesmaid dresses are sorted now.

I'm giving notice of intent on monday :j
And I've booked my chair covers and chocolate fountain now. Need to book the DJ next.

I've lost 9lbs so far on my diet :A So am well on track for ordering my dress, altho I do go round in so many circles with this as I worry ordering one from China. But my daughters bridesmaid dress came from there and it was stunning, and only £15. I worry what size to go for, when to order it, what colour to have, and whether it will look as nice when it comes - especially if i order it in a different colour as they always show the dresses in white! So I really quite want to order it, to stop me from worrying. But then I get back to the age old question, of what size to order etc.

I'm looking for a 'beach' style dress, and I don't want a standard colour (white or ivory etc). Can't give away too many details in case my OH is snooping as he uses MSE quite a lot. So even if I had extra budget, its unlikely that I would find it in a shop anyways. And lots of people are very happy with the dresses they receive, its just the odd ones which are terrible which make me worry!!

i would go for a size bigger than you are now- coz then you could always get it alterated- its better to do it bigger for this reason, coz if you got it smaller you would be in trouble.
ohh exciting about monday, it will feel more real then!

Oooo, you are good at finding things for people Sammy!

I've found a different seller on ebay selling the dress I love, and this one speaks *much* better english and has answered the questions I had! And this seller has 100% feedback and has sold quite a lot of wedding dresses...

Am not wanting to order a dress too big. I want to lose another 1.5 stone ideally, so if anything I'll order one too small. (I have done this before and managed no problems to get into a dress. I'm a determined dieter when I want to be!)

You can do them custom measurement things, but I think I might just order a standard size, as I'm in proportion all over, and an average height.

Hmmmm, decisions decisions....

Got the rings tonight, love them, very MSE used a local jeweller who ordered direct from the factory, also got some fab pearl and diamante studs in H Samuel so things are happening slowly but surely!

After yet more wedding dress nightmare last night - I've gone and ordered it this morning!!! :j

Worst that can happen is that I don't like it, or it doesn't fit etc. It won't arrive til mid-March, so then I would still have 4 months to find an alternative if it isn't right.

Am very excited, but nervous too!! Hope it turns out ok!!

Ooo, thats good news about the rings Amymo. I have my ring already and my OH wasn't going to have one, but is now changing his mind. So we'll have to start hunting for that soon I guess.
