How very Jeremy Clarkson of you. To be fair they are mainly assembled by machines.

Seats are excellent Cars that are mainly VW Golfs but also share many parts with Audis. The exterior styling is nicer but the trade off is that the interiors are a bit cheap and bland.

Basically they are a good money savers choice if you do want a new Car.

Having read through the thread I am really disappointed with the way that a query was received on here. I see this site as a way of helping people save money on things that they want, whether that be gas bills or Cars. If someone wants to spend £20k on a Car then thats their choice and we should offer advice on getting it as cheap as possible.

I assume you have not seen the new VW Golf advert then!!!:T
They are pretty vocal in assuring everyone that only the VW GOLF is actually a VW Lol:rotfl::rotfl:
:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j

Wow ! How does one go about "saving" 21K being a student ?

That is exactly what I want to know, but think the OP won't be returning to answer.

I have a feeling her BF saved up his student loan.... I really don't see how anyone can save £21k whilst being a student... If they can, there is something very odd about it... (not too jealous though :p:D)

Sorry but youre wrong, finance for 5 years with seat is less than £300, OH can afford over £300 in finance for the 5 years, did i mention in the first post what we could afford....NO!!!!

for 54 months with Seat at 10.9% APR will be just over £300 a month which we can easily afford.

Was just asking for advice on what loans we could get to make this cheaper, not some smart !!!! anwers on if we could afford the car......He's worked bloody hard for the past 5 years to get a degree, worked and done the uni course at the same time and this is a reward for him, so he doesnt have to rely on his mother's car all the time!!!!

    AFTER ALL.....THIS IS MONEY SAVING!!!!!

In answer to the few people who asked how the OP partner could have saved the deposit for the car, the answer is on the first page. He studied part time while working. So he wasn't a full time student.

    "All lorry drivers rape prostitutes"

I didn't personally find that offensive, I actually found it funny, but I know there were lots of complaints.... :D

I think the only people truly offended by him are rather small minded, humourless individuals, who like to write complaint letters to the Daily Mail.
